Fingers or a pick? Why did you you choose electric bass over the guitar? I’ll help you understand the role of a bass guitar and show you basic techniques to those catchy fills that have been remembered for decades.
Beginner level: technique and positioning is paramount. I prefer to use fingers over a pick to begin with but it is purely your choice. I will start from one position (left hand) and work with the right amount of finger strength (both hands), timing of notes, and coordination. A plethora of popular songs can be played in just one spot on the fret!
Next, I will incorporate some simple theory and show you how to move around the fretboard comfortably by shifting or sliding and really emphasize cooperation with the right hand. You want to make those notes shine and “mean it”. You are the band’s “anchor” and you Must listen to your bandmates (even if you are just jamming to your favorite songs).
My goal is to make you feel comfortable in your role and get the ...

My guitar lessons are special I think because of the experience of a musician accumulated in 30 years, which made me understand what the guitar instrument means. I managed to understand how to teach someone to play the guitar to reach the level to play on a stage because this is the dream of everyone who starts learning a musical instrument. I try all the time after the student learns the basics of the guitar instrument to go to the musical genres he likes because he is the student must learn the songs he likes. my method is based 80% on practice, ie the use of the guitar instrument literally and only 20% on theory. At the beginning I use the theory part for the development of musical hearing (ear training).
* without music life is deserted! *
The most important thing for a guitar teacher is to be an active musician with stage experience and an instrumentalist who has practically gone through several musical genres. My 30 years of experience as a musician has given me this and that's why I know how to teach someone to learn to play the g

From funk to punk, bass is the basis for everything. All good tracks have a great bassist using a variety of fun and heavily satisfying techniques, and we'll be exploring simple fingerstyle playing to more advanced ideas like tapping, harmonics, and slap in practical and musical ways. Hope you're ready to make your bass face and I'm looking forward to working together on some low end!
I'm so excited to get into music with the amazing spread of people out here! It's fairly daunting to take up a new skill, so I'd like to say that we're going to find a path that keeps interest and skill levels up. You are not required to suffer. Using several fun (and, importantly, very free) apps

Hi there! My name is Moriah, and I have been teaching private voice and piano lessons for 4.5 years. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Arts in Music, emphasis in Music Industry Studies, including voice and performance training. I have studied with/been coached by Martin Green
Her lessons usually start of with a couple of stretches (usually just upper body). This is to help relax your body, jaw, mouth, etc before singing. Then she will do some vocal warms that at first seem pretty basic, and not intense, but they will help you in the long run! Trust me. Then she will practice with you a song you want to try to sing or need help with. As you progress, she will have you work on reading music and other skills. (Course, she is open to working on anything more or less as you need). Once again, your lesson is customized on what YOU need.
I’ve been working with her since July 2018. I know that I have improved on ear training immensely! I am able to pick up melodies much faster than before. I am able to sing more powerful than before which is something I struggle with consistently. She will push you! She will take you out of your comfort and push you to have confidence in yourself. She has a great personality. Kind. Fun. Energetic. Intelligent beyond her years. I’m continuing to take lessons with her until she makes me the next Beyoncé or something.
So I highly recommend her. Book a few lessons with her, attend them, don’t forget to take your water, and a recoding device, be responsible and take it serious because she is taking you serious. After all you’re paying for the lessons. You want to improve. And you will.
I’m looking forward to continue working with her and be stretched more.
