I am currently the piano and guitar teacher at Oakwood Academy Schools of Long Beach, and the Music Director for the non-profit organization Arts Aloud Theater Group. I have a BA in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. I've been teaching for 17 years in classroom and one-on-one settings. Other places where I have taught are: Calvary Chapel Downey School, Dexter Music Academy, and ABC Unified School District. I've toured with choirs throughout China, and the United States (including Carnegie Hall), and I have also toured with rock/pop bands in Spain, Mexico, Central America, Peru, and throughout the U.S.A.

I've worked with various vocal coaches including Grammy-nominated Ilene
Graff, and Maxayn Lewis (who has worked with Celine Dion and Britney Spears).

I am also currently the lead singer (also playing guitar & piano) for the band Hello Human. I've worked with amazing musicians including Michael Thompson (guitarist for Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera), and John Robinson (drummer for Quincy Jones, Elton John). I've also had the honor of working with Wyn Davis (producer of No Doubt, Sublime).

My vocal recordings/original songs are on television show The Young & The Restless (“Dreamers” June 11th episode 11449, “High Tops” June 6th episode 11447).

My vocal recordings/original songs are currently on KWAVE 107.9 and have been on Alcoa Tennessee'™s Love 89.1, Refuge, CSN, WCTL, and on hundreds of other radio stations.

Noah was very patient and made both of my granddaughters feel comfortable. They really liked Noah and expressed their enjoyment of the sessions. I stayed out of sight in order not to distract but close enough to hear interaction with lessons. He works really well with children and is very encouraging throughout the session.

About Leslie
Leslie is a Denver based musician—clarinetist and teacher—who performs in solo and collaborative projects across the state while maintaining an active teaching studio. Leslie is in high demand as both a performer and teacher. Recent performances include solo performances is Denver and Stapleton, several chamber performances with her wind trio Enigma and the Lamont Clarinet Choir, and appearances with the Lone Tree Symphony, the San Juan Symphony, Lakewood Symphony, the Denver Pops Orchestra, the Littleton Symphony, the Lamont Symphony Orchestra, and extensive time playing Eb clarinet with the Lamont Wind Ensemble.

After she began playing clarinet with her hands switched, and consequently as the worst clarinetist in her band, Leslie began studying privately and soon discovered a passion for teaching and helping her own students improve
the way her teachers helped her. Leslie is a passionate educator who has spent time on faculty at Mt. Holyoke College and the Eaglebrook School. She currently maintains a private studio in Denver and is an active guest clinician across Colorado.

Leslie studied clarinet at Adams State, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and recently completed a Performance Certificate at the University of Denver. Influential teachers include Dr. Tracy Doyle, Claudia Weir, Michael Sussman, and Dr. Jeremy Reynolds. Leslie loves the color green, otters, Beethoven Symphony Number 7, Mozart operas, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the smell of rosemary, and her rather aggressive, toothless cat.

About Glenn
I'm originally from Los angels California, I grew up outside of Hollywood and started off just like all of us being a fan first. I've played guitar , bass and drums in numerous bands of different genres primarily rock, metal, country and blues based. I soon after became a guitar tech (since I worked on all my own instruments anyways) and began giving lessons very soon after. I strongly believe going outside of one's comfort zone musically as a great way to open new doors and pathways not normally seen.
With teaching of any musical instrument, circumstances can easily force the teacher and student to frequently go outside of their own comfort zone. For me personally this helps so much with viewing things from different perspectives and with connecting with principals or methods. And developing a visual and cognitive understanding
of the instrument. I throughly enjoy teaching and passing down my acquired skills and information to anyone willing to learn. For the preservation of generations to come.

About Diane
You will never regret having voice lessons with a true professional. I've performed and taught across the US, Europe, and Australia. As a singer/stage director I've produced over fifty cabaret shows, musicals and operas. As a recording artist, I've released the CDs: "Music in Flight," endorsed by Doctors Without Borders and "Rosas de Pulpa," a digital album of Argentine music, which was recently nominated Classical Album of the Year by "Just Plain Folks." With years of university and community teaching experience, I am a member of National Association of Teachers of Singing, a vetting organization for teachers, which provides competition platforms for young singers. I have been awarded grants by the Alabama Council for the Arts and the Lowder Foundation. Though still an active performer in jazz and other genres, I love teaching and am c
ommitted to offering my students what music can do for our world. I am Diane M. and a Google search of my name will connect you to tracks, videos and much more history about my varied and wonderful life in the Arts! NOTE: There are performance opportunities available through study in my private studio. Ask me about them!

It is a pleasure to provide a recommendation for Diane McNaron and her studio. My daughter has been taking private lessons for more than three years and we have been exceptionally pleased with the results. Ms. McNaron’s extensive background and experience in a wide variety of musical genres allows her to customize lessons around the student’s vocal strengths and interests rather than force a cookie cutter approach. Ms. McNaron has nurtured her talent in a positive, professional manner and I highly recommend her for those looking to improve, learn, or simply polish their current vocal skill set. You will not be disappointed.

I currently serve as the Brass Caption Manager for the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps in Santa Clara, CA. I was previously a member of the Vanguard A Corps from 2015-2018, finishing my drum corps career as trumpet section leader and soloist as the Vanguard won its 7th DCI World Championship. I have played shows in venues such as the Rose Bowl, Mile High Stadium, the Georgia Dome, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

I am in my penultimate year of my undergrad, working towards a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music. I am principal trumpet of the university's Symphonic Wind Ensemble, a charter member of Pacific's contemporary music ensemble 28/78, as well as a member of the university orchestra, jazz band, trumpet ensemble, and various brass ensembles. Studying with Profe
ssor Lenny Ott, I have performed works such as the Carnival of Venice, Enescu's Legende, Blazhevich trumpet concerto, and the Paganini Variations for trumpet live on campus, as well as performing in masterclasses such as with San Francisco Symphony principal trumpet Mark Inouye.

I absolutely love learning and teaching trumpet. I play and enjoy jazz, classical, contemporary, funk, and rock music. Students of mine can expect an engaging, pedagogical approach in an environment in which they are comfortable enough to unearth talents they never thought they had. We will practice, discuss, laugh, and ultimately work to achieve my goal of making music of which the student can be proud. I can't wait to get started!
