The first lesson was great. She explained some of the fiddle's background, how to hold it, and how to play it all in an interactive way. The time flew by. My daughter is very enthusiastic about the lessons & even more excited about the fiddle than before the lesson. Kathleen is awesome.

About Sepehrdad
As an experienced Violin teacher I help students to teach themselves the violin, to understood that their playing only improves when they change habits. A bored or disinterested child simply won’t progress, and a great violin teacher knows how to communicate with creativity and clarity. I have proper knowledge of the violin’s mechanics, general musical and repertoire knowledge, skilled as a player, and strength as a communicator. I have a bachelor degree in string performance, and I’ve taught students from beginner to advance for more than 10 years, guided students participating in inter-school musical shows, competitions and different musical presentations – Fests and orchestras. I teach both Suzuki and traditional method depending on the level of student.

Jonathan has a demonstrable amount of knowledge about the violin including different playing styles, music theory, and its practical application. His approach is incremental and measured that adapts to my specific strengths and weaknesses intermixed with an appropriate amount of patience. He is also very personable. I always look forward to our lessons together.

I have been teaching violin since 1998. I have an earned Masters degree in music and enjoy teaching students of all ages. I am happily married with 5 children at home--4 of them are musicians as well (the youngest is 4).. Students will quickly learn not only the basics of music theory, but will be playing songs as early as their first lesson. It is extremely rewarding watching students have fun, excel, and fall in love with making music. I presently teach music at 3 schools (1 college) and only have a few lessons slots available. I look forward to working with you.

About Doyle
Hello, my name is Doyle B. and I am eager to help you reach your goals! I've been teaching private lessons since 1992 and have loved helping my students win competitions at the state level, learn how to advance rapidly on their instrument, and fall in love with making music. I have 3 earned degrees from Pensacola Christian College (B.S. in Music Ed., 1992), Hobe Sound Bible College (A.A., 1993) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music, 1996). I have experience teaching all of the band instruments, violin, guitar, and piano. I'm an enthusiastic, upbeat person who greatly enjoys working with people of all ages. I presently employed at Hobe Sound Bible College and Christian Academy. I presently have 4 students in China and the Turks and Caicos Islands that I teach using Skype. Fortunately, I have a few openings
in my schedule to teach any one who is serious about excelling on his/her instrument. I look forward to helping you reach your potential.

Ani is a wonderful teacher! I have always wanted to learn to play the Piano. But, it was my daughter who first started learning with Ani. It was evident that Ani is a higly skilled pianist. And I saw how much my child enjoyed the lessons, the easy rapport that was established and the wealth of knowledge that Ani brings. Needless to say, I signed up too! My daughter and I love our lessons and look forward to the class each week.

Ani is an amazing instructor. It is clear that she cares very much about her profession. I signed up for voice lessons, and she has been teaching me to read music and play the piano because it all ties together. She is also getting me to a point of independence so that I can practice at home with ease. I just love how peaceful and non-judge-mental she is... I have learned lots and I am very happy I found her :)!

Learning an instrument is the most effective way to improve yourself. No matter if for a hobby or seeking a career, playing an instrument helps shaping your connections with yourself and others. With over 15 years of experience performing and over 10 years teaching students aging from 5 to 85 years old, I learned the most important surviving skill in our times, how to connect.
During lesson time we will approach technical aspects of the instrument, such as bow hold, sound production, intonation, developing dexterity in the left hand, and so on. Also, the phrasing, music making, repertoire development, and interpretation. Even though our lessons are specific developed for the instrument, music theory and ear training are important subjects to be addressed as well.
If you are looking for a constructive hobby for yourself or your kids, or you would like to put that forgotten instrument in use again, we will work with you to make this one of the most enjoyable experiences possible.
