Amazing teacher! I really enjoy his lesson plans and how flexible he is with switching it up to focus on something you really want to work on. I also like that he asked about my interest and found a way to incorporate them in our lessons. He has definitely built up my confidence in speaking Korean.

She is great! I made a lot of mistakes but she was willing to work with me and helped me learn. I’m always nervous during language lessons but she was understanding and we made it through the hard parts (conversing). I love that she has a well rounded approach to learning and having homework helps me dive in deeper. I have been studying on my own for a long time, so utilizing her classes is really helping me get more comfortable speaking, pinpoint weak spots and grow in the language.
Today was the first hour long session and it was amazing!!

So far my daughter has had three lessons and with each lesson we're patting ourselves on the back for choosing Evangeline 😄. She's super prepared and organized. Even before we chose her, she was really helpful and gave us very objective info. Sometimes it's hard for kids to focus with online lessons - especially when it's summertime. I watch the recorded lessons after and there are times that my daughter looks off into space probably dreaming of Minecraft or Roblox, but Evangeline is undeterred and is able to reel her back in.
She's super patient and engaging. Before her first lesson, we discussed what we wanted to get out of this experience and Evangeline has created a lesson plan that will help achieve that. So long story short - so far so good!

First lesson went really well. I really like that she takes the time to get to know her students so that she can tailor the lesson to their interests. Looking forward to the next one.

My name is Myung, and I am a native Korean speaker. I graduated from Ewha Women's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature.

I obtained a master’s degree in TESOL and Linguistics at West Virginia University in 2020. I have teaching experience in English, Korean, and Chinese between ages 5 to 15, as well as adults including college students. I worked as the Vice Headmaster in the Korean Language School of State College, PA for five years.
While my degree is in linguistics, I am a Tamarack artist, and I am a juried member in the West Virginia Watercolor Society (WVWS).

From personal experience as a nonnative speaker, I understand why students have difficulties in learning English or Korean, and I know how to teach language in a fun and effective way, so that language-learning can be a pleasant experience for students. Also, as a parent, I know how important it is to teach with compassion, I try to be a patient, warm, and passionate motivator for students. I ...

Mr. Park is a really great teacher and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to take lessons. He is very thorough in his lessons and really works to build a good foundation for learning Korean. He provides so much detailed information about grammar, sentence structure, conjugations, etc. He would be a great teacher for people of all levels!

Park Cheol Hong is an incredible teacher - so very thorough, prepared, kind, and knowledgable. From the moment I signed up for classes, he clearly communicated with me and I knew exactly what to expect in the first lesson and what materials to read through. I just finished my first class and I made so much progress in one lesson! Can’t wait to keep going.

I've had four lessons with Cheol Hong. I am a complete beginner and he has provided the structure, learning materials, and pronunciation correction that I was not able to ascertain with self-study. He's extremely kind and encouraging and makes learning a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher.

"I've been taking classes with Hannah for nearly two years! She's an amazing teacher who is very patient and is very helpful for understanding different concepts in Korean. Korean is a very difficult language for me but she has customized a course for me to be at my pace and I feel like my Korean has improved exponentially! My Korean has improved to the point where my in laws comment on how my accent and speaking has improved, and my husband's family in Seoul were so impressed by how much I could speak to them in Korean! All of this was thanks to my classes with Hannah.
I can't recommend taking classes with her enough."
