I am very critical of myself and use it to build constructive criticisms I can use to grow. I am hyper analytical, but can adjust to the seriousness of students. I enjoy seeing people grow at a rate they will be satisfied with as well as learning new ways to approach playing the horn.

I've been playing guitar since I was 10, and teaching since 18. From beginner to advanced, I'll work with you on technique, theory, reading tab & notes, playing songs, etc. I write my own lessons and work with my students on songs that they are inspired by.

About Olivia

I love to create. The way I'm most comfortable creating is through writing; whether it's a song, a short story, a poem or a script. Writing has always been the bass line in my life; the heartbeat. Music and film are both passions of mine. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied

I'm finishing up a degree in Trumpet Performance, and have been learning many different teaching techniques for different types of students. I like to see students progress in the musicality through fundamentals and expressiveness.

About Jaden

Hello! I love playing trumpet. I've been playing for the past 11 years, and the trumpet and music have taken me all over the place, including Disneyland, Carnegie Hall, New Orelans, London, Paris, Croatia, Italy, and many other places. I've been fortunate enough to play with member of bands such

Jaden has been such a great teacher for our son. He’s super patient and takes my sons desires into consideration. If my son says he wants to learn a specific thing then Jaden has been super obliging. He even helped show us how to clean the trumpet in the tub one day. He was able to work out coming to our home to teach and has been flexible when our schedules change.
Jamie
Jaden is a great teacher! He’s very talented and has a great way connecting with his students. He has a lot of enthusiasm about playing the trumpet that is contagious to his students.
Kristen
We love having Jaden as our son's teacher. His style of teaching and his personality work perfectly with what our son needs from a teacher.

Music theory is part of every lesson I teach! There are two levels of the way I teach this...
First we learn theory that is used in common practice and in performance. This is useful theory.

Secondly, we fill in the gaps and continue with advanced theory, this is theory that you will more than likely use to compose/write music.

About Nick

My son started taking lessons a year ago, Nick used his strengths to help him learn. He has become inspired with the trumpet, and started to play a little every day.

I am taking online lessons with Nick, and he has helped me to understand what it is to be a musician. Before I started taking lessons, if someone asked me to play something, I was not able to do it without getting a sheet of music out and struggling A LOT. Now I am starting to be able to play the music I want to play, both by ear and reading. He teaches much more than just playing band music. I wish I could take more than a few lessons this summer.

I have a 8 year old daughter and 10 year old son both have been learning Piano for the last 2 years. Nick takes a holistic approach in teaching piano as opposed to sticking with the book. It includes creating a passion about listening different music, learning scales and chords outside of the book. I have recommended Nick to all my friends

Undisputed fact: playing ukulele is lots of FUN!

I love playing ukulele. It’s fun, it’s easy to learn, and people get a big kick out of it! Chords are easy to play and the technique is simple. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or adding to your current repertoire, ukulele is always a great choice.

Every single lesson is designed just for you. We focus on your goals while having fun playing music together. We talk about good practice habits and how to achieve new heights with your abilities. You learn to play songs that you recognize as well as improvising your own.

Together we will discover the many roles that the ukulele can have including rhythms, melodies, fingerpicking, and solos. I will also help you understand the fundamental principles of music. This will take the guess work out of your playing, enabling you to make solid choices with consistent results.

Talk to you soon!

"I was recommended to take lessons with Anahit Sevoyan from a colleague and from the first class I understood why he was so excited and confident about her as a professional instructor. She is a wonderful pianist and when taking lessons, one must have someone to look up to. I went from being a mediocre, hopeless amateur to seeing significant change in my technique and have to admit, for the first time I am confident in pursuing music professionally. Aside from her ability to teach and deliver the material, she is pleasant, punctual and very kind. She knows the repertoire and different musical styles, gives me and other students insight into teaching as well as performing. She truly brings out the best in her students. I highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about learning to play the piano and especially, thinking of pursuing it as a career."

When you begin learning how to sing, you may come across several styles of vocal warm-ups.  Building your breath support is an important part of voice lessons, so spending time on appropriate warm-ups is key.  Here's a great exercise to try, courtesy of Dallas teacher Jacklynn T.: Singing is a total body workout, and warm-ups as part of a regular practice routine are essential to your vocal health and progress.
