About Alvin
Whether you want to write the hits or write songs that are for you and your friends to enjoy, understanding songwriting is a much deeper study then many originally think. I am a complete songwriting nerd and along with the countless books I have read on the subject, I also have a songwriting deal with a very successful publisher. As a songwriting teacher, I try to nurture the creative, impulsive and often times otherworldly feeling us writers get when we write songs while enriching the process with lessons in craft that can help you convey your message much clearer and much more powerfully. I follow a curriculum that I have been developing, which is compiled from countless books, notes from songwriting panels and experts and from my experience writing songs professionally with my publisher.

I would definitely recommend working with Alvin. As a producer, he always keeps an eye on trends, he listens a lot of new music and he is very sensitive to elements. He tries to incorporate in his tracks the best findings and he is open to experiment.
As a songwriter, Alvin has a very clear understanding of commercial sound and knows what consist a catchy lyrics. He thoroughly selects the best words and phrases for the songs to bring the best to the audience.
Alvin is very passionate about what he’s doing and ambitious. Very nice person, easy to talk to, easy to do deal with.

Alvin is a great producer and collaborator to work with! I have been working with Alvin the past few months, and it has been a great experience! He is dedicated to making quality music, and really understand the needs of a songwriter and vocalist from the role of a producer and arranger. He takes the time and care with his clients to deliver results in a timely manner, and I look forward to creating more great songs with him in the future!

Hello! I am a saxophonist, jazz musician, woodwind player, and music educator. I have a degree in Jazz Performance from William Paterson University, where I studied with Mulgrew Miller, Harold Mabern, Vincent Herring, Rich Perry, Bill Mobley, and many more of New York/New Jersey's finest musicians. I have experience playing professionally in jazz ensembles (as both a sideman and leader), pit orchestras, and wedding/cover bands.

My teaching career began informally while I was in high school, showing friends the basics of what I knew at the time on different instruments. I would also give some lessons to family friends, usually the younger siblings who were just starting out in 5th or 6th grade band. After I graduated from college in 2016, I began teaching professionally at various music studios throughout the North Jersey area, and thr

I’m going into my 4th week of lessons with Stacey, I made so much progress with him, than with my last instructor. For the first time I’m not as frustrated. I like that he is teaching me how to play, and not just show me tabs and good luck....I highly recommend him as your instructor !

For many years I have tried to learn guitar from books, DVD's and YouTube videos. I even tried a guitar shop instructor. It pretty much got me all kinds of confused with guitar. Then I found out Stacey offers guitar lessons online. Stacey has worked hard to undo all my bad habits and show me the proper techniques. He has taught me to use my ears and not depend on tablature for learning songs and create music. At the end of every lesson he makes sure I totally understand what needs to be practiced for the week. I am not only very thankful to have such a great teacher but one who is as amazing of a guitarist as Stacey

About Mark
I started playing the guitar when I was 15 years old and I only started taking it seriously when I was 18 years of age. At 21, I decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in music. Back in Malaysia, I had the opportunity to teach children aged 8-15 for 6 months as a part time job, performed at 2 local indie music/ art festivals, and collaborate with other musicians in the scene.

Following that, I continued my degree studies in Berklee College of Music and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Performance. While I was at Berklee, I spent most of my time there studying and playing jazz. Other than that, I also had the opportunity to work with people who come from various walks of lives. Among the opportunities that I had, one which stood out for me was the chance to be a film score session guitarist to play on other student's projects.

After
I graduated from Berklee, I made the move to Los Angeles. I am currently playing for singer-songwriter Sofia Zorian and blues/rock group Luke Elder & The Infinite Ways. I grew up on 60-80s pop music thanks to my parents, and my music palette has evolve over the years, so I have a deep love for many genres of music. Some of the examples of genres that I have listened and played are blues, rock, pop, motown, jazz, metal, and classical. I have been playing guitar for 11 years now and still find great joy in discovering something new about instrument each day!

About BRYAN
I've played guitar since I was a little kid, lucky enough to have a Dad who is an accomplished musician. I've continued to play and teach ever since and think my experience in actual live band paid performances is a great asset in my teaching career. I know what it takes to become a good guitar player and can help students achieve their goals.

I currently play with the Ashley Martin Band and the Gil Puckett band in addition to doing acoustic solo and duo shows and doing studio work. Again, my experience in these situations provides a great teaching perspective as I concentrate on getting students playing and performing songs quickly while also teaching the fundamentals of great guitar playing.

I've taught students from all age groups and from all experience levels. Most of my students are beginners but I'm also well equipped to handle
intermediate and advanced lessons in a variety of genres. I find it extremely helpful when giving lessons that I can say I not only teach these styles but preform those styles on stage every week. Playing professionally gives me a few insights on learning the guitar that students will find useful.

Perhaps my greatest strength however is my continued passion for guitar and music. I don't consider playing gigs and giving lessons a job. It's very satisfying to be able to do what I love every day and my excitement for music can make the lessons fun and entertaining. I hope you consider me as an instructor for you or your child.
