Did you know most people quit learning guitar in the first 30 days? Most people answered that they quit because their fingers hurt or it was too boring. They were learning reading sheet music and playing on steel strings. This isn’t how people fall in love with guitar and play for the rest of their life. It is super important to start with nylon strings so that you don't have to worry about your fingers hurting while you are learning chords. The other key is to learn the songs that you love and are excited about! I remember I had to learn scales and lead solo from old sheet music book and I too wanted to quit guitar forever! I really started learning when I learned the songs by my favorite artists. When something is fun and your are excited about it, you end up getting really great fast! I eventually turned that into writing my own songs. Now guitar is my therapy and my best friend. I want to share the best way to learn guitar with everyone. Thank you for reading and I am looking ...
Did you know Fender says that 90% of people quit learning guitar in the first year? That is because they are making it so much harder than it needs to be. People that fall in love with playing guitar learn by playing music they love! Also, with me you will start with nylon strings so you don't have

I have a passion for teaching people to sing to the best of their ability with the instrument they have been given! I want to teach others to sing like THEM, not like someone else or in a certain style, but to unlock their potential! There aren't shortcuts, but we can be relaxed, comfortable, and laugh on the journey to improvement! This is first and foremost a safe space to make mistakes and learn the correct way to use our bodies to sing. I have a bachelor's degree in music and performance from the University of North Georgia and have been teaching lessons for over eight years with students of all ages and backgrounds. I am excited to share what I have learned to help YOU sing to the best of your ability!
I am a professional musician who has held multiple positions as director of music at churches and has taught individual voice lessons with students with ages ranging from 5-92. I offer Acting training with three different types of focuses:
- Acting Lessons: If you are interested in the craft of acting and want to become a better artist I create a weekly/monthly lesson plan which will serve your unique needs. Lessons will be based around your experience level, your interests, and your end goal as a performer.
- Audition Coaching: Monologue/Scene/Side coaching for anything from a Community Theater audition to a callback for Chicago Fire. We will attack your audition material analytically, psychophysically, and psychologically.
- Industry Coaching: What does an agent do? How do I get noticed by a Casting Director? How can I get to perform in a Motion Picture? What type am I?
The focus of my Acting Industry Coaching is to expose the actors to all the industry tools and info that can make them successful. Explaining Unions, how a headshot can get you through the door, and how to figure out type, are what I focus on in these lessons.
Looking to become more confident? A better actor? Find a new agent? With over 10 years of industry experience as an Actor, Director, Artistic Director, and most importantly, educator, I help people from Ages 5 to 80 sharpen their craft, turn anxiety into self confidence, and own themselves so th

Biology from MIT
Teaching since 2010
I have majored in Biology at MIT, where I took many courses on molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and human diseases. As a result, I can help students with biology in many levels, including I also conducted research on cancer and tissue engineering at the Massachusetts General Hospital, the National Institutes of Health, MIT, and Harvard-MIT HST.
Having worked with many students, I understand that students have different demands from school and their schedule. As a result, I first meet with the students to determine and adapt my lessons accordingly. I also talk with the teachers as needed.
I also always carry around AP Biology prep books, SAT Biology prep books, or college biology materials (depending on your levels) so that the students can work on the practice problems during the lessons. I also provide them with additional resources (especially the list of concepts from the AP Biology labs) and practice problems as needed.
I'm an MIT tutor specializing in math, science, and test prep and many of my students have gone on to study at Ivy Leagues, MIT, and McGill. Many of my students have also gotten 800 on both SAT Math and SAT Math 2, 750+ on SAT Reading and Writing, and 5's on the AP exams even in the midst of pandemi
