Amazing!

Lisa is an amazing instructor and musician! I was very nervous to learn to play the piano as an adult beginner, but Lisa's teaching style put me at ease and has made learning very enjoyable! I highly recommend Lisa to anyone interested in the piano!
Amy N. Wesley Chapel, FL

About Amy

I had my first piano lesson when I was five years old. I performed my first piano solos for audiences at school events. I joined the keyboard team at church when I was thirteen years old. I quickly learned to improvise and accompany. It was exciting to discover that I could study piano in college. I earned my way by accompanying voice and instrument choirs, rehearsals, lessons, and recitals. I enjoy helping other people excel, so I chose a teaching degree over a performance degree. In 1991, I graduated with my bachelor of music degree in piano pedagogy. I immediately began teaching private and group piano lessons, building my studio over fifteen years to reach nearly 600 students ages five to seventy-five. I accompanied community choirs, local vocal artists, and students ...

I have two kids learning piano with Ms. Amy, 3rd & 4th grade. They have completely different personalities.

Ms. Amy's patience and enthusiasm continues to make learning fun for both my boys while teaching/motivating towards their individual ages/styles.

Very fortunate to have found Ms. Amy.

Amy is great with teens!

Amy is innovative in her approach. She uses enthusiasm and positive reinforcement; communicating well with her students (and parents). We could tell that she read the questionnaire we filled out; using it as a guideline for her initial lesson plan. By integrating technology with her lessons (part of a teen's everyday life) she was able to motivate our teen. We hear the piano frequently now. Piano has become a fun part of our teen's daily life. Amy is an inspirational teacher.
Tamara P. Tampa, FL

About Tamara

Tamara studied music at the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Percussion Performance and a Master's degree in Percussion Performance. She has been teaching privately since 1998. She works very hard to foster good relationships with her students and their parents because she truly believes that good relationships are extremely important to having success in private lessons. She tailors lessons to each student's learning style, needs and personal goals so that they can achieve their full potential. Many of her students continue to play and enjoy music after high school and some pursue degrees of their own. Her goal is first and foremost to make sure her students continue to love music. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are ...

Tamara

Tamara is extremely professional and is one of the best teachers I have ever worked with. She can take the most novice of players and transform them into incredible musicians. Whether you want to study drum set, snare drum, or concert percussion, Tamara is the person to go to. She goes above and beyond to make sure each student is successful, essentially, giving you more bang for your buck. Being one of Tamara's students in high school, I can say Tamara is one of, if not the best, teachers I have ever had.

5-Star Teacher

I began taking percussion lessons with Tamara as a high school sophomore. I had played in marching band before that, but until then, had not studied any solo percussion instruments. I had never even held a four-mallet marimba grip before. Over the course of the next three years, under Tamara's instruction, I made it into All-State Band and Orchestra two years in a row, was principle of All-County Band two years in a row, completed two advanced four-mallet marimba solos (along with several snare drum and timpani etudes), and auditioned and was accepted into three percussion programs at esteemed colleges. None of this would have been possible without Tamara's incredible lessons. She taught me not only technique, but musicianship. She is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met, not only in terms of classical percussion, but world music, drumset, marching percussion, etc. The list could go on and on. She is always able to explain every question clearly, leaving no stone unturned. Above all else, Tamara's tactfulness and consideration for others sets her apart from other teacher's I've studied under. She meets all problems with thoughtful solutions, always sensitive to every thing and everyone involved. Even today, four and a half years after our first lesson together, Tamara will be the first person I turn to if I have a question, whether it be about percussion, the music business, or life in general. She is my first recommendation for anyone in need of a percussion teacher.

Mary is a very great music instructor, she takes her time with you until you get a hang of what you are practicing with your voice. She is really patient and does not rush you into anything you are not comfortable with yet. Mary is a very good instructor, and I suggest her to others.

Mary taught me piano and vocal lessons for many years. She teaches a variety of different musical styles and makes her students feel confident in themselves as they learn. She teaches in such a way that is easy to absorb and provides children with incentives to encourage them in the process. If you are looking for music lessons that will also enrich your life, Mary is the teacher to go with.

Bryce is an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher!

He is also very dedicated and professional. He was able to quickly assess and direct me to new heights! I walked into my first lesson lacking confidence in my voice and feeling overwhelmed with nervousness. He not only made me feel comfortable, but excited to sing! By the time I left the studio, Bryce empowered me to sing confidently and really enjoy it. (In addition to the homework for the next lesson!)

I look forward to my next lesson with Bryce and would recommend him to any age! :)
