Singing with Mariele M.

Hello! My name is Mariele. I am a professional opera and musical theatre performer and teacher.   I have studied singing  in universities and conservatories in the United States and Europe. I have also been teaching singing lessons for the past 8 years.  I love to help young singers develop their potential in singing, but most importantly encourage them to have fun and love music!!!!! *** Lesson Details *** When a student works with me they can expect to have a very patient, kind, and loving teacher. I like to encourage students and help them realize their own unique talent.  In the first half of our lesson we will do basic voice technique exercises.  The complexity of the exercises vary according to age and experience.  The second part of the lesson puts  into practice the new voice technique that the student is learning.  We do this by singing a variety of songs. Some songs I will bring in and help the student to learn, the other songs will hopefully be songs chosen by the student. I like for the student to be active in their song choices and therefore feel they are not only learning, but expressing  their own unique style. *** Travel Equipment *** I expect them to at least have a piano keyboard. *** Specialties *** I specialize in operatic vocal technique but, I also teach various styles of music like pop, jazz and musical theatre.
