My name is Chris and I am a professional guitar player. I have been teaching for about four years now and sharing the joy of music with others has become a passion of mine.
I started playing the piano at the age of five, the trumpet at nine and the guitar at thirteen. Over the years I have also learned to play the drums, bass, harmonica as well as how to sing! I studied at L.A. Music Academy as well as Musicians Institute. I currently play in two bands, recording my debut solo album and recently played the National Anthem for a profession football team!

Nicole has been singing her entire life, and began training in high school in
1990. In 1997, she graduated from "Citrus Singers" at Citrus College,
where she received extensive training in vocal technique in a variety of
styles, from opera to pop, and Broadway to jazz. She is educated in
music theory and history, stage presence, dance, drama, etc. She has performed professionally in numerous musical
theater productions all over Southern California and beyond. She also
has lots of experience singing with live bands, and Christmas caroling
in various venues including Disneyland. All in all, she has over 18 years of vocal performance experience and seven years of teaching experience. Nicole has a lot to share with students who are serious about singing professionally, or students who just want to sing for fun!

I started singing professionally at the age of fourteen. I have had leading roles in semi-professional theatre productions since I was seventeen. I have also been assistant director, musical director, choreographer, costumer and writer for many productions from West Side Story to My Fair Lady to Camelot. In the theatre I have worked with and trained children and adults of all ages. I have also conducted summer camps that were theatre workshops for children. I am a school teacher and I teach music and drama to children from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I have been giving voice lessons for more than twenty years. I tailor my programs based on the needs of my students. I am passionate about music and I love being able to share that with other individuals who are passionate about music. Jonathan is a grateful, fun and energetic voice teacher! Having been a performer in venues all over Southern California starting with Performance Riverside reaching to the prestigious Musical Theater West in Long Beach, Jonathan has a passion for teaching young performers as well. Jonathan enjoys being a teacher around the Inland Empire having taught at Valencia Elementary School grades 1-6, Broadway Experience ages 10-18 and Fontana High School grades 9-12. Currently enrolled as a full time student, Jonathan too enjoys taking voice lessons regularly because “practice makes perfect!”

As a 15 year old teen I was headed no where. I had no interests, and was failing my freshman year of high school.This is when I started playing the guitar and fell in love with music. As I studied under my dad who was a professional musician my mind started to open up. My attention span grew. My problem solving skills and comprehension improved to such a degree that my grades went up to the honor level in my sophomore year. I graduated with a 4.0 so I preach and stress the importance of learning a musical instrument.
I got into teaching only 4 years after I first picked up the guitar and immediately found that it was what I wanted to do for a living. Oh sure! Playing in bands is fun and I do play in 3 different bands at the moment, but I enjoy seeing my students grow in and with music most of all. As a vocal teacher I focus on the correct method to singing that helps keep your voice beautiful and healthy.
I earned my bachelors degree in music education with an emphasis in vocals. I learned music appreciation, theory, history, choral singing and classical voice training.
I love music and cannot picture life without it. Music is an expression of life! I also love to teach music to others as I feel I'm passing on a great gift.

My journey with music began in 2004. I started playing guitar and piano while attending College of the Desert. The guitar led me to take several music classes, including guitar ensemble and piano. I soon transferred to Cal Poly Pomona to pursue a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2005. While attending Cal Poly, I declared a Double Major in Music Performance (Guitar Emphasis) since I enjoyed it so much. I began studying guitar under Dr.Yates (UCLA) and Dr. Gravelle (UCLA). They both inspired me to take the instrument seriously. During my 6 quarters of Private/Studio lessons with Dr. Gravelle, I began learning challenging pieces of different genres (jazz, classical, and bossa nova). Each quarter I would perform in front of a panel of professors for a grade. I also performed throughout Performance Seminar classes.
