I grew up in a small town in Idaho and always had a dream of being able to sing. Because of excellent teachers who loved and cared about me I have been able to accomplish that dream, and now I am excited to help you reach your dream! After receiving a masters degree from The Eastman School of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature, I moved back to Idaho to teach at a local University and I was hooked on teaching! I loved seeing students progress and accomplish their goals. I worked mostly with female classical singers, but also taught some musical theater students ranging in age from 10 to 40 years old. All of my students were able to improve, especially those who practiced. All were able to extend their range and agility and smooth out the rough spots in their voices! I am so excited ...
I am a recent graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in both Music and Musical Theatre. With my music degree, I strongly focused on musical theatre pedagogy as well as classical music. I also trained extensively in dance and acting which I believe has helped me tremendously when teaching voice. I also have studied piano for the past 10 years and continue to train in voice.
My approach to teaching, whether it be voice or piano, is one with care and concern for the student. Each student is an individual and will take in knowledge in different ways. I always like to cater my teaching to whatever the students needs are. This requires observation and experimentation on my part. When I find what works, it makes for a more productive lesson for my student and I. In voice, I have a ...

I am a professional singer and actress with opera and musical theater credits. Singing is my passion! I love to sing, and I LOVE to teach others to sing! The human voice is the most natural instrument of all, and helping others to bring out the beauty of the natural instrument that lies within them is something to which I am very devoted. I like to make students feel comfortable and at ease in lessons, and you will find that I am very warm and friendly!
Every student is unique, with their own strengths, their own areas for improvement, and their own preference for certain styles of singing. I can help you find what style makes your heart sing!
I have a broad range of credits, including the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler On The Roof with Theodore Bikel (Tzeitel understudy), ...

I am a theater music director, pianist and conductor located outside Boston, MA and available for travel. In addition to my skills as a performer, I have extensive experience in collaborative piano, primarily with vocalists and musical theater/opera repertoire, and I am very good at teaching people how to sing well.
