Ryan has been playing the guitar for ten years. During this time, he studied and performed many styles of guitar playing. His earliest experiences include playing a lot of blues and rock guitar, which he still does today. In high school he played guitar in the school jazz ensemble. Ryan graduated with honors from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Music Education. While in college he studied classical and jazz guitar, and performed extensively in Guitar Ensembles, Jazz Ensembles, and small chamber groups, as well as solo. Ryan has over three years in teaching experience, and is well versed in various styles of guitar playing, as well as music theory.

I am a current student at Bucks County Community College and a product of their music department. I studied with Professors John Sheridan and Tom Giacabetti (UArts and Temple) I've been studying music theory for 8 years and have been a guitar player for 9 years. With 3 years of teaching under my belt, I specialize in contemporary music that stretches over many genres including blues, country, pop, and rock. I can also teach an introduction to jazz for students looking to enter into a college program.
I'm also a member of alternative country band 'Levee Drivers.' We have enjoyed local success which gives me great professional experience as well as keeping me on my toes as a musician.
I enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels and no form of music is boring to me. I am willing and able to teach whatever is desired by the student.

I began playing drums at the age of 9, guitar at 10, started my first rock band at 11 and I've never stopped playing music since. After playing in the concert band, jazz band and marching band in high school, I went on to Temple University where I earned my Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance on the drum set. Since graduating in 2006, I have been teaching both drums and guitar professionally all over the greater Philadelphia area.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have performed, recorded and toured the US and Europe with many different groups ranging from jazz to rock to metal.

With the performance ability sharpened by his diverse professional experiences, Philip D. is a renaissance man in his own right. Ian's vast and diverse experience on the Northeast music scene has given him the background that rivals the best of many professional musicians working today. From band tours of the US, Canada, and Hong Kong and a handful of recordings under various acts, Ian remains busy in his home city of Philadelphia. Ian has performed with such acts as Jazz great Grover Washington Jr. to the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra.

Ian has taught private lessons in Bass both electric and acoustic, piano, and guitar for the last eight years in which he has also lent his talents to the esteemed Paul Green School of Rock and DayJams Summer Rock School. He is also involved with a number of after-school programs in the Philadelphia area where he teaches private lessons, music theory, and rock ensemble.

I have years of experience working with students of all ages and levels. Many of my students have gone on to pursue music in university, win competitions, or simply have enjoyed playing for fun and with friends after moving away from home. I tailors each of my lessons to the interests of my students. I have taught anything from classical pieces to pop songs in order to ensure the student is getting the skills they want out of lessons with me. I myself was classically trained at Temple University and Western Washington University, and I hold a Master's degree in performance. My name is Peter A. I've been playing guitar for over ten years. I recently graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, I spent several semesters studying with Tomo Fujita (former teacher of John Mayer and Eric Krasno). I've also studied with legendary guitarist Pat Metheny and Jack Pezanelli. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Wes Montgomery, and Jimi Hendrix are responsible for inspiring me to play guitar and I specialize in teaching blues and jazz. I've performed with a bunch of great artists in the Boston and Philadelphia area.
I am also well versed in computer recording software and DAWs. I teach students how to use software programs such as Logic and Reason as well as notation software like Sibelius and Finale. With some basic training in these programs, I can teach a student how to effectively record and produce professional quality recordings so that a student can write, record, and produce their own music.

Hello! I am a professional music educator in the Philadelphia, PA area. I graduated magna cum laude from Mansfield University, with a bachelor's degree in Music Education and hold a master's degree in Flute Performance from the University of Connecticut. I have taught all ages of students, from pre-K to adult, a wide variety of instruments. Having graduated from Westminster Choir College, I have learned many techniques for helping students to understand their voices better. I have taken voice lessons myself for the past 8 years, and still do take them. This gives me the opportunity to learn new and different techniques. As every student is different, there are many different techniques that can help the student to find their voice.
One style of teaching that I really feel is important when discussing the voice is the idea of just singing. Often times, as was my experience, when people hear voices they like they will mimic that sound. The problem with that is that the person will start singing with a voice that does not belong to them. That is usually the first goal for a voice teacher to achieve, is to find the students voice again.

My name is RJ J., and I am a jazz guitarist and composer currently living in Philadelphia.

I began playing guitar in 2002, and mostly focused on rock and blues playing early on. I took lessons at a nearby music store for about 3 years as a beginner. While still studying at this store, one of my teachers offered me a job teaching lessons; however, I was too young at the time to do so. This experience began to make me think seriously about making music my career. I decided to focus on jazz and classical music while in high school, and have pursued these styles more exclusively ever since.
