I have been a piano teacher for many years, and many of my students have gone on to become professional musicians themselves. I am a member of MTAC, am a Certificate of Merit adjudicator, and am on the editorial board of the MTAC state magazine. An enthusiastic and encouraging teacher, I enjoy helping my students achieve their musical goals. Home school students and older adults are especially welcomed.
Pepperdine University Graduate, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and English Literature, and am excited to enrich others with the indispensable knowledge of music. Studying and performing Classical Piano for the past 17 years, I have had the opportunity to perform with the Pepperdine Orchestra, in Piano Master Classes under the direction of established pianists Jura Margulis, Daria Rabotkina, and Jeffrey Siegel, and also in Heidelberg’s Music Program in Germany in 2011. Teaching music lessons for the past 6 years, I have found that both student and teacher benefit from this educational process, and the continued opportunity to expand musical knowledge is an extraordinarily beneficial process. Inspired by the challenging and creative aspects that music presents, I am incredibly excited to help foster the love for this unique art in you!
