Recently graduating Pepperdine University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and English Literature, I am excited to enrich others with the indispensable knowledge of music. Studying and performing Classical Piano for the past 17 years, I have had the opportunity to perform with the Pepperdine Orchestra, in Piano Master Classes under the direction of established pianists Jura Margulis, Daria Rabotkina, and Jeffrey Siegel, and also in Heidelberg’s Music Program in Germany in 2011. Teaching music lessons for the past 6 years, I have found that both student and teacher benefit from this educational process, and the continued opportunity to expand musical knowledge is an extraordinarily beneficial process. My name is Mike T. and I'm a professional musician of 16 years. I started playing piano at the age of 8 and studied classical, rock, pop, ragtime, blues, and impressionistic styles. At the age of 11 I got my first drumset and started jamming to bands like Metallica, Foo Fighters, Blink 182, NOFX, Black Sabbath and of course Led Zepplin. By the time I reached the age of 21 I was a well established, mutli-instrumentalist.
I then attended Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA where I honed my skills as a drummer and overall musician. I can now play all styles of drumming from Rock and Metal, to Latin and Jazz, to Reggae and Funk..you name it. I also studied Harmony & Theory, Ear Training, Technique, Sight Reading, and Performance. I graduated in 2010 and never looked back. Jan L. is an award winning songwriter, producer, actress, and artist developer. Her studio, Angel Diva Music, is designed to improve artist abilities on and off the stage as well as giving the clientele first-hand knowledge of the industry while increasing their creativity.

Backed by an extensive musical background debuting with the Philadelphia Orchestra and continuing her career singing with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic, Jan L. went on to receive a Bachelor’s of Education in Opera at Temple University and two Master’s Degrees from Combs College of Music in Theatre Arts and Composition.

Jan’s accolades in music continued as she wrote “Damaged” for the newest Ralph Lauren Polo website campaign and composed a television theme for Lou Rawls called "Knock Outs". I have two passions in life: Music, and helping others. Teaching music is the best of both worlds for me. My goal with music has always been to inspire others the way other great musicians have inspired me. I believe music lessons can benefit everyone in someway. Since the age of 6 months in the womb, Taylor has been touring internationally and been a part of major recording sessions! Being the son of two well known L.A. musicians, Hollye (professional singer and songwriter) and Troy (professional guitarist, keyboard player, producer, and composer), Taylor's many accomplishments at a young age come as no surprise.

I've been teaching piano, cello, voice and theory in Los Angeles for over thirty years, helping students develop their particular interests in music and to encourage them to reach their personal goals. I love the classics but many of my students want to play popular music, contemporary sounds and jazz and that is fine too. I received my BA in music at UCLA and a Master's at Cal State Northridge. I conduct vocal and bell choirs, run a concert series, play chamber music, sing in a band and teach in the Community College District in addition to running my private studio.

Originally from Chicago, I attended Chicago Musical College for 2 years before moving to Calif. and receiving my B.A. in music from Cal. State Northridge. I also have an M.A. in Education from there. I have been a band director in public schools for over 40 years. My bands have won over 50 1st place awards in music competitions. I have been playing keyboard professionally since the age of 14. I truly enjoy working with both kids and adults on a one on one basis, and provide a relaxed and friendly, yet goal-oriented experience.

Melissa has been singing all of her life. She began her vocal training at a very cute age, learning every song she heard, and passionately performing them for friends and family. She later went on to pursue a formal education in Classical Vocal Performance & Jazz technique from California State University, Los Angeles. While completing her Bachelors degree, Melissa was fortunate to have worked with many established artists, bands and producers of various styles, including jazz, blues, rock, pop, soul & funk. These collaborations have allowed her to hone her own voice and successfully pursue professional work.

Most recently, Melissa has enjoyed the opportunity to lead elementary school choirs locally. She will have completed a Masters in Education with a Teaching Credential in 2012, and further, plans to pursue the field of Musical Therapy.
