Dallas is an up and coming guitar player/singer/songwriter with exceptional guitar skills and great pop sensibilities, all while still retaining his roots in blues and classic rock. He has been influenced by such greats as Hendrix, Zeppelin, The Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wayne Shorter, Steve Morse, Andy Timmons and Scott Henderson as well as modern acts such as Green Day, Sublime, Sevendust, Soundgarden, Derek Trucks and countless other bands and artists.
With his first full-length album released in 2008 and his most recent EP released in 2012, Dallas is always writing and performing new material working with various artists both live and in the studio as well as producing on the side. He has recorded and performed with rock, blues, pop, electronic, folk, punk, jazz, fusion, rap and hip-hop artists, and is constantly expanding his musical horizons.
Born in Tallahassee, FL in 1983, Dallas grew up listening to his father play guitar as a young child. Just a few years later his family relocated to the Tampa Bay area where he has spent most of his life. Always having an interest in music since a young child, at the age of 14 he picked up the guitar and has been inseparable with both the instrument and music ever since.
Dallas graduated from the University of Miami in 3 years on May 11, 2012, and is continuing his study of both guitar and song writing as well as co-writing, recording and playing with local acts in Florida. Dallas has been a three-time top 10 finalist of the Bruce Hornsby Songwriters Showcase in 2009, 2010, and 2012 playing shows opening for Bruce Hornsby and the legendary Lemont Dozier.

A lifetime of pop music from rock, folk, reggae, blues etc..
I have been a working professional musician for 20 years and still work 2 nights a week. I have spent years making my living by playing gigs at events, restaurants, and bars. The advantage this gives me over other teachers is that you learn what works and what sounds good. The end goal for most people is to be able to perform. I can teach you how to sound good! I teach both electric and accoustic guitar.
Bass Guitar, Guitar, Piano, Classical Guitar, Music Theory, Banjo
I've been teaching professionally for over ten years and have taught over 200 students of all ages and backgrounds how to play. I've played mostly in rock bands but have also done Classical, Jazz, and Country projects. I play a wide selection of styles including Rock, Pop, Country, Ragtime, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, Metal, Church, Renaissance, Punk, and Funk/Soul. (Everything from Bach to Rock to Bachrach). I graduated from the University of Maryland and Excelsior College.
Piano, Music Theory
I had my first piano lesson when I was five years old. I performed my first piano solos for audiences at school events. I joined the keyboard team at church when I was thirteen years old. I quickly learned to improvise and accompany. It was exciting to discover that I could study piano in college. I earned my way by accompanying voice and instrument choirs, rehearsals, lessons, and recitals. I enjoy helping other people excel, so I chose a teaching degree over a performance degree.
In 1991, I graduated with my bachelor of music degree in piano pedagogy. I immediately began teaching private and group piano lessons, building my studio over thirteen years to reach more than 800 students ages five to seventy-five. I continued to accompany community choirs, local vocal artists, and student performing on other instruments. I was called as a substitute for church choir directors and accompanists. I was employed as a music director and organist for seven years.
In 2004, my family and I moved to St. Cloud, Florida. I achieved my Music K-12 professional teacher certification with the State of Florida. I have been teaching elementary music in Florida charter and public schools for the most recent eight years (Osceola, Broward, and Pasco counties). I have been engaged as an accompanist for high school students participating in Florida Band and Florida Vocal Association contests, and for middle and high school chorus performances.
Violin, Cello, Clarinet, Flute, Music Performance, Music Theory, Oboe, Percussion, Saxophone, Trumpet, Bassoon, French Horn, Harmonica, Trombone, Viola
I have been teaching music for over 20 years and playing as a professional musician for even longer. I know how to get the best out of my students and have fun doing it. I'm a University of South Florida grad and I have worked and studies in Las Vegas and at the Berklee school of music. My students constantly win superiors at contest and sit in the upper chairs in band and orchestra. Lets have some fun and make some music.
