Let me just give you some quick knowledge about my personal history as a musician to get a better idea of my skills and experience.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Music at The Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University where I studied classical voice and majored in Sound Recording.

Since graduating, I've written, recorded and produced an album as a solo hip-hop artist, as well as performing with other local arists of the hip-hop genre. Aside from that, I've been involved in two rock bands, one of which I'm currently in now and are in the process of recording a demo with. As an independent artist, I've composed and published some instrumentals online with a music licensing company called Pump Audio Inc. I belong to The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), an organization owned and run by its members, is the leading U.S. Performing Rights Organization representing over 427,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers.

I first started guitar at the age of 12 taking private lessons myself. Some of my main influences then were rock, punk, alternative rock, and ska music. Later I pursued classical guitar but still enjoy the electric. I am a current student at the university of Akron majoring in Classical Guitar Performance. I love all types of music as long as there is a beat I will roll with it.

Teaching has always been a hobby for myself. I am a relaxed individual, but still get results. I do not believe you need to yell and scream, but always just talk it out. I prefer to teach beginners to intermediate players. This is because from the beginning I can start instantly with teaching proper technique witch will allow you to be a better player.

I have a Master's Degree in Viola performance from the University of Akron. I have won the Tuesday Musical State wide competition for stringed instruments in 2009 for EJ Thomas Hall. I was awarded String Student of the year in my undergraduate studies at the University of Akron in which I received a Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance. I also have performed with the Ohio Light Opera, Transiberian Orchestra, Ashland Symphony. I attended the Mark O'Connor Strings Fiddle camp in Tennessee and Meadowmount School of Music in New York. I also play at my church with the Gospel Choir, which is a lot of fun! I am also in a band where I fiddle at a pub in downtown Akron once a month.
Teaching is my passion and I enjoy working with students who are eager to learn. I am very strict with proper technique that will benefit the students ability to play well with good intonation and musicality. This will give the student the ability to play any genre of music they choose.

I've been teaching music lessons now for nearly 8 years. I have been singing, playing the guitar, and playing piano since I was 7 years old. I went to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey to study Sacred Music. While there I had the distinct honor of performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with the New York Philharmonic, The Dresden Philharmonic and the New Jersey Symphony at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center NY, New York as well as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Throughout my time there I also developed my piano proficiency through rigorous ear training and through the learning of theoretical concepts in music.

I then went on to work with Mid-America Productions and the New England Symphonic Ensemble. Through this opportunity I have now sung over a dozen performances of various classical choral masterworks at Carnegie Hall in New York City! "How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, Practice, Practice!"

I have been teaching many instruments to all age groups for over 15 years. I have a lot of diverse musical experience in performing, singing, playing many instruments, recording, songwriting, and teaching. My Bachelor of Music Degree is from Heidelberg University with an emphasis in percussion and music business.
