About violin lessons

How to Play the Violin: Violin Lessons from professional violin teachers in your area! The violin is the highest and brightest of all the orchestra string instruments and can be found in all kinds of music from classical to rock to bluegrass (yes, you can even find Fiddle Lessons here at the site). Many of our violin instructors specialize in helping children learn the violin and have experience with the suzuki method and/or have professional experience with symphonies and live bands. Some of our violin teachers offer a free violin lesson so you can try them out. When looking for violin lessons, search for a violin teacher that will teach you how to read violin tabs and train you in both left hand and right hand techniques focusing on rhythm, dynamics, and violin tonal quality. Check back here often as we will be introducing free online violin lessons.

I just recieved a violin as a gift (after many years of thinking about taking lessons) and I'm looking to start lessons as soon as possible.
I don't even know how to set the bridge and tune the instrument properly at this point, so very beginner!
Do you have any availability?

My daughter Emilie has express interested in learning to play the violin. She found your name on the internet as a contact for me to follow up with. She is 12 years old and already a band student at Briscoe Jr. High in Ft. Bend Co. She plays a clarinet in the Honors Band.
