I've been playing for years and I must say you combined in a great way all my musical influences: Vai, Malmsteen, Rhoads... doing this while hving your roommate throwing stuff at you without missing a beat is amazing... you are a natural and should be recognized.

That was astonishing! I don't consider that "shredding" because even though it's fast and there's improv added that Randy Rhoads solo has too much distinctive phrasing in it to be just "ripping up the fretboard harmonically" which what I think of as "shredding" and that's not to to say "shredding" is less artistic.
Most of those added improv notes fit just right and put Garret's personal signature on the Rhoads solo. Congrats!
