I am a professional opera singer who also sings art song, musical theater, and I have a special place in my heart for vocal jazz. I have a Bachelor degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Iowa, and a Master Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. My singing has taken me from school auditoriums in Iowa to large opera houses in the US and abroad. I can help you feel comfortable singing your favorite music in any venue, and I look forward to helping you discover the joy you can feel making music with your voice.

Hailed by critics as having a "beautiful, light mezzo agility, and natural theatricality," and a "commanding" stage presence, Lora completed her Masters of Music in Classical Voice Performance in May 2012 from the University of Miami's acclaimed Frost School of Music. Here, she performed the roles of Cherubino in "Le Nozze di Figaro," Mrs. Herring in "Albert Herring," and the title role of "Orfeo." Prior to receiving her Master's Degree, she received her Bachelors of Music from Miami University in her homestate of Ohio where her roles included Papagena in "Die Zauberflöte," and Poppet in Britten's "Paul Bunyan," amongst numerous other roles in opera scenes and chorus. She also has studied opera and art song performance in Salzburg, and the Tuscan region of Italy, along with spending a summer at the Manhattan School of Music's Summer Voice Institute. Elizabeth has been praised for her “clear ringing soprano voice”, excellent comic timing, and “warm and enlightening” performances (The News Journal of Wilmington, DE). Elizabeth has been seen on stage with most of the Philadelphia area Gilbert & Sullivan groups, including The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Chester County, Ardensingers, and Thespis Etc., and performed the roles of Patience (Patience), Yum-Yum (The Mikado), Rose Maybud (Ruddigore), Angelina (Trial by Jury), and Fiammetta (Gondoliers) in 2008 and 2009.

Most recently, Elizabeth performed the leading soprano role in the world premiere of an original opera with Opera Delaware in Wilmington, DE's Fringe Festival. She “tackled the challenging score with gusto, her beautiful soprano and excellent diction winning in even the highest vocal points” (The Community News of Wilmington, DE).
