I want YOUR DRIVE AND PASSION TO PLAY DRUMS to set the pace for our lessons. A motivated and aspiring player leaves endless possibilities behind the kit! Lessons will start with a nice, rudimental warmup to get those hands and muscles warm. We'll focus on playing technique, muscle memory, as well as the key rudiments played by marching drummers and drum set players worldwide. Once we're warm, we'll move to getting that full, solid sound out of the drum set. Focusing again on technique (behind the kit now) and basic patterns to work on getting a great sound. We'll finish up by playing/jamming to your ...

very unprofessional. I was not late, but instead went to the wrong apartment. Instead of asking if I was running late or got lost, he sent me a riddle about being late: "To be early is to be one time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is to be in trouble." I'm an adult, I don't need to be told i'm in trouble. Rubbed me the wrong way.

Cristina is knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher for me. I'm really excited about the progress I've made in just 3 short weeks and I know I want to go as far as I can in drumming.

I'm normally self-conscious and nervous about learning new skills, esp if I feel like I'm not able to be GREAT at it right away. But Cristina put me at ease right away and has helped me to be laid back and patient. That's a big deal.

She's an awesome drummer too.
