I began my journey in music at a very young age. I started by taking piano and voice lessons as well as singing in a children’s choir which I participated in for 10 years. I have performed in many recitals, competitions, concerts and music theater productions. I began classical training in voice when I was 13 years old and took lessons at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs NY. When I graduated high school I attended Schenectady Community College where I obtained a 2-year degree in music performance for voice. In 2003 I moved to Rochester NY where I attended Nazareth College to study music therapy with a concentration in voice and secondary instruments of piano and guitar. Andrew is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts in vocal performance at the Eastman School of Music. He recently appeared as Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus with Empire Lyric Theater and as Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance with Mercury Opera. He completed his Masters of Music at the University of Tennessee Knoxville where he was a member of the Knoxville Opera studio and performed Count Ceprano in Knoxville Operas performance of Rigoletto. With the University of Tennessee Opera Theater his roles included: Leporello (Don Giovanni), Reverend Hale (The Crucible), Simone (Gianni Schicchi), and George Jones (Street Scene). He is a graduate of Brigham Young University Idaho where he appeared on stage in, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Ephigenie en Tauride, and Fiddler on the Roof. Kendra is a recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she studied voice and music education. Having taught all ages both privately and in the public schools, Kendra is passionate about helping voice, piano, music theory, and acting students of all ages and ability levels explore music, improve their skills, and reach their goals.

She is an active performer and has had advanced training in opera, musical theater, pop, and jazz styles of singing as well as classical piano and classical acting. She is constantly aiming to sharpen her own skill set so as to better serve her students. She teaches privately out of her home in downtown Rochester and runs the music ministry at one of Rochester's local churches.

I have a graduate degree and a performer's certificate in classical guitar performance from Eastman School of Music. I have studied with many world renowned musicians including Paul O'Dette and members of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. As a graduate student I taught classical guitar to undergraduate jazz guitar majors at Eastman, and to undergraduate music majors at the University of Rochester. I also taught Eastman's graduate level guitar history and literature class in addition to maintaining a private teaching studio where I have gained experience teaching students of all ages.

Debra is a native of Lynnwood, WA (Seattle area), where she started your music experiences. She was one of those classic stories about singing before speaking as a child. She started her music involvement since the 4th grade with band and choir and since then, the rest is history.

Debra has two Bachelor's degrees; the first is in Music Education - Choral Emphasis, and the other being in Vocal Performance both obtained at Brigham Young University - Idaho. She loves to teach as well as sing in the classical and jazz/broadway genres.

Debra is extremely experienced in the audition world and has been a finalist for several competitions including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and the Lois Alba Aria Competition. Her engagements for this year, thus far, are more auditions as well as playing the Abbess in Puccini's Suor Angelica with Eastman Opera Theatre.

Since arriving in Rochester, NY in 2009, Chris T. has become one of the areas most in-demand drummers. A willingness to integrate a myriad of different styles with dedicated authenticity has provided Chris with long-standing musical relationships with groups as diverse as The Po’ Boys Brass Band (funk/rock), the Crescent City Connection (traditional swing dance), Madeline Forster (American songbook), and Cash Back (country). Always an active collaborator, Chris can be heard investigating creative new territory with bassist and singer and bassist Katie Ernst, the Dave Rivello Ensemble, the New Energy Jazz Orchestra, and The Mighty High and Dry.
Since the group’s formation in 2009, Chris’ group Quintopus has been an outlet for original creative music and instrumental covers of artists including Bjork, Cibo Matto, and Radiohead. I am an experienced musician, with almost 20 years invested in playing the piano. I have been teaching piano music for almost 7 of those years, and have always sought to enable others to increase the talent they have in the field of music. I have studied under many different teachers, including professors from the Eastman School of Music, and have expanded my knowledge as to how to benefit my pupils music education. I have always enjoyed seeing individuals take the next step, and progressing in their interest of a God-given gift.
