I work with the Chicago Jazz Ensemble and we have a Trumpet Concert coming up on April 11, 2008 at the Harris Theater in downtown Chicago. In addition to our Artistic Director, Jon Faddis, the show features guest artists Lew Soloff, Randy Brecker, Tom Harrel and Terel Stafford. I have a 10 year old son who would like to learn to play the trumpet. He is homeschooled and I need to add some music education to his curriculm. He loves music and has taken guitar lessons but it was difficult for him. Could you contact me and let me know what you could offer

My husband, Israel Sanchez, purchased a trumpet and took trumpet lessons for about 1 month in Chicago 3 years ago.

He would ideally like to play at our church.

Since we've moved to the burbs he hasn't pursued it.

i have not played trumpet since i graduated hs. i am now almost 50. i smoked for 25 years. i purchased a pocket trumpet to see if i could blow one note and it wasn't easy. why would i pick up the trumpet again? my gf is a singer songwriter guitarist who is planning on performing again and would love if i could play one solo with her. i think it would take a miracle worker to help me play this instrument again. what do you think? do you think you could help me make some music in this lifetime?...

My grandson has been in the band at his school, Center for Enriched Studies for 3 years. His only lessons have been through his school but he is ready to tackle some private lessons. I want to learn to play jazz trumpet. I've never played the trumpet before

I am looking for a class for my girlfriend. She knows how to play the trumpet, but has not played in a while and she said she would like to take it up again. If you could let me know prices, info, etc I would be thankful

I have two children (10 & 12) and they both play trumpet in school. There skill levels are slightly different. They'd like to take lessons over the summer. I need to find classes for them after 5:00 PM or on Saturdays. Do you offer trumpet lessons?

My daughter is going into her Senior year at Franklin Heights. There are only one other Senior besides her and the band director thinks that the two will not be able to handle the load this coming year in Marching band. She is really wanting to step up to the plate and prove him wrong. I told her that I would help and getting her some extra lessons to tighten up her playing. I would love it if you could help. I need to know what you charge per hour, per session
