About Cindy

Music can inspire creativity and growth; it can evoke tranquility and joy. This was the case for Cindy W. who began playing the piano at the age of ten and within a couple of years studied composers such as Debussy, Liszt, Bach, and Chopin. While only in junior high, she started teaching piano, rapidly gaining teaching and business experience. She held annual recitals giving the students an opportunity to perform for their parents and peers in a public setting.

Cindy studied music with Rachel Perez-Hayes, a graduate from the Juilliard School of Music, New York, and was considered gifted and talented with perfect pitch recognition. Excellent teacher

I enjoy the class a lot. I am comfortable learning with Cindy because she is a polite and patient teacher. She is also very helpful and considerate when it comes to my learning.
Rhonda S. Hayward, CA

About Rhonda

I have always had a love for music. From all the music trivia games my family won't play with me, to my large collection of records, cassettes, and CDs - I am hooked!

I made my solo performance debut at age 7 by singing "It's A Small World" acapella in a school talent show. At age 9 I started taking clarinet lessons where I learned musicianship and how to read music. Throughout my school years I also sang in choir, played tenor saxophone in the school jazz band, and hoofed it in marching band.

During my first year in college I took a beginning guitar class for fun and I never looked back! I studied classical guitar for 3 years and piano for 2 years. I ultimately received a Minor in Music from California State University, Hayward in 1990.

Since 2006 I have been an active teacher. This profession has taken me everywhere from working with classical guitar classes in New Mexico high schools to Elementary students in Japan to a variety of private students of various musical instruments and genres everywhere I've been. Since relocating to the Bay ...

About Donald

Hi. I'm Don. I have been playing the piano for over 40 years, and B-3 organ and synthesizer for over 30 years. My early training was in classical piano, but then I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and there was no turning back. After a couple of years of teaching myself guitar, I returned to the piano, and later, organ and synthesizer. I ha™ve been playing professionally in rock, R&B, blues, country, light jazz, and lounge bands for over 30 years. I did continue to study classical music in college -- piano, theory, composition, and history -- but by then I was committed to popular music. I've always loved teaching -- even while I was in college, I tutored my fellow students in piano and music theory.

Along with performing, I have done much recording session work, ...
