My name is Phillip D. E., and I am a very fun loving, caring, and interactive music teacher in the metro-Atlanta area. I love the art of teaching music and making references to life, art, poetry, plays, and relationships. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Musice Education from Southern University with additional graduate work in Piano Performance at the University of West Georgia. I have been teaching and playing the piano professionally for over 22 years and it is my absolute passion. I teach all musical styles which range from religious, rhythm and blues, jazz, rock, pop, and classical. I look forward to enriching your lives whether your goal is to become a concert pianist or merely to play for your own personal enjoyment. I have worked with all ages from 5 to about 80 years old. I started taking piano lessons at the age of eight under the instruction of Robert Wilson before switching to Rosaline Saunders Music Studio. I play by ear, but also read music. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. My purpose is to create well rounded musicians, who can play all genres of music, and who will also know how to set the atmosphere with their music. I love teaching piano and I love teaching all ages. I began teaching piano in 2003 before becoming the founder of The Master's Hands Music Studio in 2004. My greatest joy is seeing the knowledge and gift of music passed to others that was afforded me by the sacrifice of my late parents.

I am a professional bassist/guitarist with 30 years experienced playing in various bands, both locally and nationally known with styles including Rock, thrash, metal, blues, praise & worship, even country. I began taking piano lessons in grade school, played saxophone in middle school, and taught my first guitar lesson in high school. I am currently in a Christian Rock band that is signed with a major label. I have written many songs, which are copyrighted. I own and operate McDonough Music located in McDonough, GA and provide lessons there.

Xavier, a native of California, has been involved in music from a very early age. In church, Xavier was active as a soloist with the children’s and adult choirs. Beginning in high school, Xavier was very active in the music program of Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy. As a member of the concert band, he played the alto and tenor saxophones. He also sung in the concert choir and in the highly auditioned chamber singers. In seeking to broaden his musical interests, Xavier auditioned for and performed the role of Enjolras in Schoenberg’s Les Miserables in 2004, and the Beast in Menken’s Beauty and the Beast. Upon graduation, Xavier continued his musical training at Oakwood University where he majored in vocal performance and pedagogy. Hello and welcome!!! I'm a 29 year old percussion instructor at Clark Atlanta University. I've been teaching private lessons in the metro Atlanta area since 2008. I teach every aspect of percussion from marching to concert and even drum set. World percussion is also included!!! I hold a BS in music from Bethune-Cookman University and a MM in percussion performance from Georgia State University.
