My name is Joe and I work in NYC as a Lead Guitarist, Musical Director and Actor. I have recorded, toured, and performed for most of my life. Music has taken me to other parts of the world and I share what I've learned to my students so they can enjoy and experience music like I have.
At 16 years of age, I began formal tutoring from G.I.T. graduates and studied at numerous guitar seminars and workshops. By 22 I had my first record deal in Germany.
I have a B.A. from St. Johns University and an Associates Degree in Music from Five Towns College. Below - you can see my recent resume;

Dr. Vince is a musician, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and a producer.

Vince wrote two instructional books one for guitar and vocal and is currently writing a book he also plans to record more music.

Jason Y. is an accomplished pianist, composer, and piano teacher residing in New York City. A classically-trained jazz pianist and composer, Jason graduated with honors from New England Conservatory of Music and Phi Beta Kappa/Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, as a student in the schools' 5-year double degree program. At New England Conservatory he studied with legendary pianists Danilo Perez, Fred Hersch, and Ran Blake, among others. He is well versed in jazz, classical, popular, and several world music idioms. Jason's teaching style is methodical and disciplined yet creative; challenging yet patient; comprehensive yet uniquely tailored to the specific needs, musical background, and interests of each individual student.

I graduated from ASU in 2005 with an emphasis on jazz guitar. Then I lived in Brazil for a little bit and fell in love with samba, bossa nova, mpb, and chorro. I went back to Arizona for 2 years then had the rare opportunity to teach in Bermuda. While there I conducted a jazz camp, recorded a jazz duo album, played 'The Full Monty' musical, and taught private lessons and group lessons at the high school. Since moving to NYC in early 2009 I've been playing out at several clubs and bars with a wide variety of groups. I also perform every summer with a street theatre group that plays in all the parks around the city.

As a guitarist I've shared the stage with such jazz greats as Joey DeFrancesco, Scott Wendholt, Rich Perry, Sam Pilafian, Gunther Schuller, Mike Crotty, Mike Kouker, Papa John DeFrancesco, Regina Carter, Quincy Davis, and several others. I was born in Amsterdam, Holland, where my father worked as an opera singer. While listening to vocal warm-up arpeggios, my mother bounced me on her knee and taught me rhythms and rhymes.

In my family we beatbox, play piano, sing melodies, and are generally just musical. The family moved to the States in 1995 where my parents worked as music teachers. My Dad is a voice professor at the University of Wisconsin, and my Mom runs an amazing music program at Country View Elementary School in Verona, WI.

In the small town of Verona I played in the band program throughout high-school where I had an amazing and demanding music teacher and highly talented friends. The Drumset became my passion and I played, blissfully and recklessly, as often possible.

As a composer, my song “Listen, was recently chosen as Editor’s Pick by Guitar Player Magazine. I scored the music for the feature film for Utopians, which premiered at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival, had “one of the most long lasting guitar improvisations since Dead Man.”

I'm an Associate Artist with renowned downtown experimental theater company, The Wooster Group, I've worked over a three-year period playing electric guitar in the re-imagining of Francesco Cavalli’s 1641 baroque opera, La Didone. I'm aso a fixture on the downtown jazz scene, currently playingwith Karl Berger’s Improvising Orchestra, and Butch Morris’s Conduction Ensemble, as well as my own solo and group performances.

David, drummer, pianist, composer, and teacher, has been living, teaching, and performing music in and around New York City for over 30 years. He has a bachelors degree in music composition from Mannes College Of Music.
Before coming to New York, David had studied with some of the best performers in the world, including jazz drummer Joe Morello, from the Dave Brubeck Quartet. On piano he had studied from jazz pianist Keith MacDonald, who had given David a very solid background in both classical and jazz, and he had also helped encourage David's first attempts at musical composition.
Originally from Watchung, New Jersey, David began performing professionally in local rock bands when he was 14 years old. Later, in his high school years, David began playing with wedding bands and jazz bands, performing in local clubs, restaurants, and catering halls.

A lifelong musician and songwriter, Ian S has extensive experience teaching guitar and piano to students age 3 and up both as a private music instructor and as a teacher at the Institute of Music for Children. With 25 years experience in guitar and piano, Ian has studied and performed with several award-winning music artists, and has written and recorded over one hundred songs. He plays and teaches a variety of styles on both the guitar and the piano, from classical to jazz to rock. Ian is patient, friendly, and loves sharing the gift of music.

Ian was the guitarist in the Princeton University Jazz Ensemble for 3 seasons, was selected from a nationwide pool of musicians to perform at a special music event at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and was the recipient of the New Jersey Governor's Award in Arts Education for the category of Instrumental Music.

Music has been the core of my life since I started playing the piano by ear at age 10. I took lessons with a local teacher and played in rock bands through high school. I went to the Berklee School in Boston for 2 years after playing professionally after high school, then transferred to Rutgers University, majoring in Jazz and Classical Piano. While in college I started playing for Dance Classes, which became full time for 10 years. I then moved to NYC, freelancing as a touring and session musician. As a Music Teacher, my strengths are Patience, Experience and Encouragement. I am a Father of 4 and have had the joy in teaching them Guitar, Saxophone, Basic Theory and more. I have taught at Columbia College Chicago and at School of Rock (NYC/NJ). I currently teach children and young adults how to make simple musical instruments at The Friends of The Family Day Care Center in Mutuchen, NJ as well as producing Creative Sound Workshops at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and various Sound Art Festivals.
Playing by Ear has been a priceless, innate talent that I have developed throughout my life and I encourage all musicians, young and old, to do the same. Veronica is an experienced pianist, vocalist, and composer who is originally from Washington, D.C. She has been teaching and performing for over 10 years and continues to seek out new and exciting musical opportunities. Versed in a variety of styles: jazz, blues, classical, rock, funk and gospel, Veronica has performed in venues up and down the Eastern seaboard, in Texas and Colorado. She holds and M.M. from the University of North Texas, a B.M from Berklee College of Music and was a recipient of the Berklee Achievement Scholarship and Toshiko Akiyoshi Award. She is also fluent in Spanish.
