Originally from Capetown, South Africa, I'm a NYC based professional drummer. I've studied at Berklee College Of Music (Boston, MA) and The Drummer's Collective (NYC).

I offer my students professional training in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

My name is Joe and I work in NYC as a Lead Guitarist, Musical Director and Actor. I have recorded, toured, and performed for most of my life. Music has taken me to other parts of the world and I share what I've learned to my students so they can enjoy and experience music like I have.
At 16 years of age, I began formal tutoring from G.I.T. graduates and studied at numerous guitar seminars and workshops. By 22 I had my first record deal in Germany.
I have a B.A. from St. Johns University and an Associates Degree in Music from Five Towns College. Below - you can see my recent resume;

Dr. Vince is a musician, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and a producer.

Vince was produced by" Badfingers" Joey Molland, which was the Beatles first band signed to Apple Records and also performed with the Del Vikings, Ben E. King, and many local groups
Vince wrote two instructional books one for guitar and vocal and is currently writing a book he also plans to record more music.

I am an upright bass, bass guitar and guitar player who performs almost 7 nights a week in NYC, and abroad. It is this practical knowledge and my great love of music that informs the way I teach. For me performing and teaching music is fun and inspiring. I want my students to have fun, be inspired and in a short time start gaining the skills needed to achieve their personal goals.
In addition to being a busy freelance musician I am co-leader of the popular jazz group Lapis Luna, and am a founding member of the rousing early jazz, swing and blues band The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn. I also find time to play in the double bass section with several of the great community orchestras in NYC performing timeless works from Bach to Bartok. Hi there, my name is Cory and I'm a professional musician born and raised in NYC. I play guitar and I let no genre escape my grasp, I even make up my own. I've been playing since I was a teenager and I am currently acquiring my Master's degree in guitar performance at Hunter College. I study, perform, and love music from a huge variety of periods and styles, but my true passion is combining everything I love into new forms and adding my own personal touches to create entirely new and individualized music to share with the world.

A busy professional drummer/composer, Sean has a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music and also plays piano, bass and guitar.
Only 27, Sean has launched an impressively diverse career, crossing over musical worlds to perform with jazz artists such as Maria Schneider, Dave Douglas, Shelly Berg, and Alan Pasqua to rock veterans Warren Haynes of the Allman Brothers, George Porter of the Meters, Michael Shrieve of Santana, Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and Greg Ginn of Black Flag. He also tours and records with contemporary pop outfits Francis and the Lights, Shenandoah and the Night, and 2AM Club.

Music is therapeutic to my soul and essential to my everyday existence. Absorbed by it, I dedicate most of my energy toward creating, writing, and playing music. I am here to help you to do the same. I am fortunate and grateful to have worked with many of the world's most amazing and creative performers, artists, composers, and producers.  Because of this, I've learned to appreciate a diverse range of musical genres, while showing no bias toward any one musical form. After all, at the end of a piece of music, it's the listerner's personal feeling that will truly reflect their opinion.

Alex started his formal music education in the fourth grade where he first played trumpet in elementary school. Jason Y. is an accomplished pianist, composer, and piano teacher residing in New York City. A classically-trained jazz pianist and composer, Jason graduated with honors from New England Conservatory of Music and Phi Beta Kappa/Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University, as a student in the schools' 5-year double degree program. At New England Conservatory he studied with legendary pianists Danilo Perez, Fred Hersch, and Ran Blake, among others. He is well versed in jazz, classical, popular, and several world music idioms. Jason's teaching style is methodical and disciplined yet creative; challenging yet patient; comprehensive yet uniquely tailored to the specific needs, musical background, and interests of each individual student.

I was born in Amsterdam, Holland, where my father worked as an opera singer. While listening to vocal warm-up arpeggios, my mother bounced me on her knee and taught me rhythms and rhymes.

In my family we beatbox, play piano, sing melodies, and are generally just musical. The family moved to the States in 1995 where my parents worked as music teachers. My Dad is a voice professor at the University of Wisconsin, and my Mom runs an amazing music program at Country View Elementary School in Verona, WI.

In the small town of Verona I played in the band program throughout high-school where I had an amazing and demanding music teacher and highly talented friends. The Drumset became my passion and I played, blissfully and recklessly, as often possible.

I have an eclectic musical journey spanning the East and the West, the electric and the acoustic, the ensemble and the solo voice. I cover various stylistic ground from jazz, world, and classical, to funk, punk, and avant-garde. I also play the oud and Turkish cumbus.

As a composer, my song “Listen, was recently chosen as Editor’s Pick by Guitar Player Magazine. I scored the music for the feature film for Utopians, which premiered at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival, had “one of the most long lasting guitar improvisations since Dead Man.”

I'm an Associate Artist with renowned downtown experimental theater company, The Wooster Group, I've worked over a three-year period playing electric guitar in the re-imagining of Francesco Cavalli’s 1641 baroque opera, La Didone. I'm aso a fixture on the downtown jazz scene, currently playingwith Karl Berger’s Improvising Orchestra, and Butch Morris’s Conduction Ensemble, as well as my own solo and group performances.

David, drummer, pianist, composer, and teacher, has been living, teaching, and performing music in and around New York City for over 30 years. He has a bachelors degree in music composition from Mannes College Of Music.
Before coming to New York, David had studied with some of the best performers in the world, including jazz drummer Joe Morello, from the Dave Brubeck Quartet. On piano he had studied from jazz pianist Keith MacDonald, who had given David a very solid background in both classical and jazz, and he had also helped encourage David's first attempts at musical composition.
