I am a University of Hawaii Piano Performance Major with a training emphasis in classical piano. I have taken multiple AMEB piano examinations, as well as performed in various recitals, culminating in an undergraduate music certification. I have been playing for 15 years, working with a variety of musical and performance styles, including individual performance, accompaniment, and musical collaboration. These experiences have given me the skills to tackle and communicate musical themes and ideas to students with a range of learning styles and needs, from beginning to advanced, classical to leisure.

I love music and I love teaching! I started out with a passion for musical theater, and eventually I developed a love for opera and art songs. I love how singing requires both physical awareness and mental focus, and I will strive to teach the balance of these aspects. Whether you want to gear up for karaoke or learn how to sing an Italian aria, I can offer you advice and training to help you meet your goals.

I've had a great deal of experience reaching out to students of all ages. I taught undergraduates while finishing my masters degree in Chicago, and while performing outreach with the San Diego Opera and Anchorage Opera. Outside of music, I love competing in triathlons!

Soprano Belinda L. is quickly emerging as a sought-after performer both in opera and as a recitalist. Her performances have been described as “mesmerizing” and her crystal clear voice is full of a “beauty and sensitivity that makes her an immediate stand out.” Most recently, Belinda has appeared on the stage of Peabody Opera as Euridice in Gluck's Orfeo. I discovered music sifting through my Dad's record collection and soon decided that I wanted to play guitar. As a teenager I began taking lessons and building confidence in my abilities. I played in different types of bands ranging from rock, country, blues, and jazz. After completing College in 2003, I realized music was not just going to be a hobby, but a career. At age 29, I have been teaching and playing guitar professionally for the last six years. I believe that anybody can learn to play as long as they are patient and understand that anything worthwhile takes time and sustained effort to achieve. You also need a good teacher who understands how to take you where you want to go musically. I have taught over a hundred different students of all ages and abilities. I have seen many of them grow musically and gain confidence in other areas of their lives as a result. I aim to inspire every student to find their way to a rewarding life through music.

I teach students as young as 7 and all ability levels, whether you're just starting out, have been playing for a while, or are considering switching from violin to viola. My students don't just learn to copy my playing, but learn how progress and problem-solve when they're practicing on their own.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Music in viola with a concentration in string pedagogy and a graduate of the New England Conservatory and Tufts University double degree program with degrees in Viola performance and English Literature. At NEC I studied with Roger Tapping, Carol Rodland, and Kim Kashkashian. My summer festival experience includes Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Heifetz Institute, where I also worked with Jeffrey Irvine, John Graham, and James Dunham.

I am an international singer/songwriter, performer and teacher with a home-base in Baltimore, Maryland. I enjoy teaching the love of music through the medium that makes most sense to you, either voice, guitar, songwriting or French horn. Through teaching, I feel I am giving back what was given to me, the pure joy of performing. I love helping people find and connect with their music.

As a performer, I have played up and down the east coast and at such venues as CenterStage in Baltimore, MD, Ebenezer's in Washington, DC, and The Vagabond in New York, NY. My undergraduate degree is from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Music education where I am certified to teach any music from students K-12. Currently, I am pursuing a masters degree in Vocal Performance and Opera from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University where I study under Phyllis Bryn-Julson.

Hello^^ My name is Justin. I study Music Composition and Piano at Towson University, and I've been teaching for four years. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performance from Berklee College of Music. He started playing drums at an early age and began studying seriously throughout his high school and college years. I was born in Charlestown West Virginia. My musical career started at age 3 when my parents placed a pair of drum sticks in my hands. I started playing drums in church and then progressed to play in middle school were I was apart of the jazz band and orchestra. With some very early lessons, I begin to blossom into a skillful drummer. I then continued to play in bands in high school and, in addition, became apart of the Milford Mill Academy Marching Band.
