Matt M's. musical affiliations include some of music's top artists - from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Steve Vai Band and Van Halen to Extreme, Aerosmith's Joe Perry Project, Journey's Steve Perry and worked with many well-known record producers.

Beginner to advanced students are equally welcome, as are professionals desiring a fresh perspective. Guitar is my primary instrument, but am quite adept at ukulele, bass, mandolin, tenor and 5-string banjo. Preferred venue for lessons is at my home in Wakefield RI, but will consider travel to your home or business within a 20-mile radius if schedule permits.

Teaching since 1987 Larry K.has had great success with his students some even have had the chance to move on to movies and theater and perform professionally as Larry had for 20 years.
Some have even sung with stars such as Martina McBride live during a concert. As did Missy Hanrahan.
Larry takes great pride in investing in his students and helping them to attain a level of excellence!
LKVS also works toward helping students get represented well by helping them create there own audio/video demos.
Encouraging them to write there own music, Larry even co-writes songs with students to help them find there own musical identity.

I received my first guitar eighteen years ago and have been playing seriously for thirteen. Seven of these years I have been teaching a variety of students from different skill levels and ages. Currently I teach at Double Bar Music in Westport, MA Mondays and Fridays and will be directly a guitar camp this summer at the South Dartmouth YMCA. I also provide in-home lessons seven days a week. Throughout the years, I have always discovered more artists that capture my attention and infused their playing into my own to create a very broad and varied musical style.
