Music has always been apart of my life! After hearing my great-grandmother and her siblings sing various Spirituals, I knew I wanted to become a singer as well. I began singing in my middle school choir and I have been an active chorale member since. I began taking voice and piano lessons in 2007 at Georgia Perimeter College (GPC). While attending GPC, I had many performance opportunities in groups such as: chorale, opera, jazz and musical theater. I was also enrolled in piano lessons as well as a keyboard techniques class. Fall 2009, I transferred to Kennesaw State University (KSU) were I was active in Chamber Choir, Gospel Choir, and Opera Theater. During my first semester I had the opportunity to experience my first leading role in a full opera (The Medium). In 2010, I also began performing with Peach State Opera Company where I appeared in multiple opera scenes, as well as "Carmen" and "The Magic Flute". Judy began her pro singing and piano career at 16 and continued touring and singing shows throughout her college training at Fla. State Univ., getting her BME degree. After that she sang with pop, rock, and gospel groups and has sung and played piano live and in the studio for more than 20 years as well as teaching during that time. She continues to write and sing as well as training Cori Yarckin, Sasha Aaron, (both have had their songs on MTV, and Cori just had a song on a Lifetime Channel TV movie) and Caitlin Eadie who at 15 years of age will open for the band "Heartland" in Nov. Another student at the ripe age of 8 just won a singing competition in the city of Orlando and performed at the Linda Chapin Theatre at the Orlando Convention Center. MY PHILOSOPHY

My number ONE goal as a private lesson teacher is to ensure that my students reach their maximum potential. I refuse to let one student slip through my fingers as far as technique and overall familiarity with their instrument. My plan is for the high school orchestra directors, who will reap the benefits of my original instruction of their orchestras, to thank me every year.

Gabe has been playing the drums for twenty years and has been teaching students for about twelve years. In that time he has played with numerous live acts as well as studio work. His experience mostly lies in jazz, funk, blues, latin, and rock. As much as he loves playing these styles he loves to teach them. Gabe's music education began in grammar school and continued through high school. In college he earned a non-music bachelor's degree but never stopped studying the drums. With the help of his own private instructors and continued playing experience, he now considers himself a self-taught musician and uses this experience to show his students how to do the same. His students can expect a challenging curriculum that will make them better players no matter what style of music they play.

Will is from a long line of World Renowned Drummers. His uncle Ed played in the Tonite show band with Johnny Carson, his cousin plays drums for Billy Joel ( Liberty DeVito). Will himself took to the drums at the age of 7. By 13 years old he was already gigging in special events, Jazz Bands and local community concerts. Since he has performed with Mr Louie Bellson ( Legendary Jazz drummer) , Lou Soloff ( Trumpeter for Blood , Sweat and Tears), JIm Chapin ( Legendary Jazz Drummer, father of Harry Chapin and author of some of the best Drumming Technique books still employed today. I have eight years teaching experience and have a bachelors in guitar performance. I attended AIM on bass guitar and have been playing for eighteen years. Through my education and experience I have had success in teaching the fundamentals and getting my students up to speed by teaching technique and strong music fundamentals. I teach all ages and am enthusiastic about conveying my love for the instrument.

Xavier, a native of California, has been involved in music from a very early age. In church, Xavier was active as a soloist with the children’s and adult choirs. Beginning in high school, Xavier was very active in the music program of Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy. As a member of the concert band, he played the alto and tenor saxophones. He also sung in the concert choir and in the highly auditioned chamber singers. In seeking to broaden his musical interests, Xavier auditioned for and performed the role of Enjolras in Schoenberg’s Les Miserables in 2004, and the Beast in Menken’s Beauty and the Beast. Upon graduation, Xavier continued his musical training at Oakwood University where he majored in vocal performance and pedagogy. Buzz is an independent producer, writer, arranger, & keyboardist with over 30 years in the music industry. He appears on more than 150 CDs (2 received platinum certification) as performer or producer.

During the 80s, Buzz toured the world with the legendary Curtis Mayfield as musical director and during that time became staff producer for Ichiban Records. In the 90s, Buzz focused on production & arranging, working with some of music’s finest such as Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, & Ben E King to name a few.

In 2000, Buzz created Amatones Music. He has composed music for CNN, Delta Airlines, The Discovery Channel, the Weather Channel as well as for film and TV. His orchestration skills provided him the opportunity to score 2 songs for jazz pianist Bob Thompson and the West VA Symphony Orchestra.

Hello and welcome!!! I'm a 29 year old percussion instructor at Clark Atlanta University. I've been teaching private lessons in the metro Atlanta area since 2008. I teach every aspect of percussion from marching to concert and even drum set. World percussion is also included!!! I hold a BS in music from Bethune-Cookman University and a MM in percussion performance from Georgia State University. I promise my students a fun and relaxed environment where they can discover new avenues in their playing and push beyond what they thought wasn't capable of them.

I have studied a Master of Music Degree in piano performance at the University of Florida under Professor Boaz Sharon who is piano department chair at Boston University now. I received my Bachelor Degree in piano and minor in voice at the University of Santo Tomas and have previously studied with Gila Goldstein, Timothy Woolsey, Sang-Mi Lee and Perla Z. Suaco. My masterclass experience has been under the tutelage of Svetozar Ivanov, Nikita Fitenko, Raul M. Sunico and Reynaldo Reyes. I have been a University of Florida Graduate Teaching Assistant in piano skills and private instructor for voice minor students.

Timo has been a professional guitarist for over twenty years. He has performed professionally all across the US and internationally and he continues to perform frequently today. An alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, he subsequently spent fifteen years performing on the New England circuit with local and national acts. Also, he recently returned to the US from his second six-month stint in Shanghai, China performing at blues/jazz clubs as well as other doing freelance guitar work. Now based in Atlanta, GA, he continues to make a name for himself on the Southern circuit while adding guitar teaching to his already impressive resume. Timo specializes in teaching blues, pop, and R&B styles, as well as chords, scales, picking techniques, and much more.
