Melissa has been singing all of her life. She began her vocal training at a very cute age, learning every song she heard, and passionately performing them for friends and family. She later went on to pursue a formal education in Classical Vocal Performance and Jazz technique from California State University, Los Angeles. While completing her Bachelors degree, Melissa was fortunate to have worked with many established artists, bands and producers of various styles, including jazz, blues, rock, pop, soul and funk. These collaborations have allowed her to hone her own voice and successfully pursue professional work.
Melissa has enjoyed the opportunity of lead local elementary school music programs, and has most recently expanded her private vocal studio Sing Your BEST Self to include skills training in piano, music theory and ear training.
Melissa specializes in LIVE improvisational performance, and can be seen performing under a stage name around the Ventura County and Los Angeles areas. Additionally, She is an accomplished songwriter, and has lent her voice to many recording projects, art collaborations, as well as, T.V. and Film.

Hi! My name is Christopher, or Chris for short. I am a composer, arranger, pianist, vocalist, and private tutor. I have taught private lessons in piano performance, vocal performance, music theory, and musicianship to local students for the past 3 years. I currently attend CSUN’s school of music where I am a year away from obtaining my Bachelor’s of Music in Composition. My other experience includes teaching Confirmation classes to teenagers at St. Jude’s church for 2 years, and teaching English to Japanese high school students through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.

She is the recipient of both a Los Angeles Music Award and Los Angeles Women in Music Comet Award and can be heard throughout film and television.
Anna has been teaching voice and piano for over 17 years. The last 5 years she has added song-writing, ear training and music theory to her list of subjects and views instruction as an important part of her own discipline as well as her contribution to other artists of all ages and skill level who are striving to learn and keep their instrument in shape. Her professional experience in the studio and on stage gives her students who want to pursue music as a career the advantage of her relationships within the industry. Virginia is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, University of Michigan’s School of Music where she received a Bachelor degree in Vocal Performance, and University of Southern California where she received her Master’s degree in Music Education. She is a active performer, private voice teacher, music teacher and musical director in Santa Clarita and Thousand Oaks. She recently performed the role of Jack’s Mother in Thousand Oaks’ Hillcrest Center for the Arts production of Into The Woods and is currently preparing to sing the role of the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors later this season. She is also working as the musical director for Repertory East Playhouse’s production of I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE in Santa Clarita that will open in February. During her free time, she is the vocal coach to the award winning Hart High School Show Choirs in Valencia. Ms. S’s performance resume includes several Off-Broadway productions, a European tour with world-renowned organist Marilyn Mason; and operatic roles with Los Angeles Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Los Angeles, and El Dorado Opera. She writes children’s operas, and has been nominated for two Independent Music Awards.

Laurel S. is a vocal coach and performer with a long history of singing in various bands ranging from cover bands to original rock as well as writing and recording her own music. She is a classically trained actress with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from California State University, Northridge and has starred in several musicals and plays in Los Angeles as well as Hawaii where she lived most recently before returning to the mainland. She has also worked as a professional actress in film and TV and was a voice over casting director for several years.
Laurel is undergoing certification in a well-known vocal technique which helps singers obtain optimum results using exercises specific to their vocal type to increase control and strengthen the mix between head and chest voice. Singers are able to sing in any style without straining, cracking or causing damage to their vocal cords. Laurel is passionate about helping her students release their true voices and unleash their maximum singing potential.
