I have been working as a musician for 25 years, playing all styles. From polka to jazz, and classical to hip hop I played every gig I could get! This helped me grow as a musician and an educator.

I play piano, guitar, bass, and the touch guitar. A guitar with the octave range of a piano, by which the performer plays bass and guitar simultaneously by touching (or tapping) the strings. I've been playing touch-style for 20 years and I teach master classes on the technique. I also teach music theory, harmony/arranging, and musicianship/performance classes.

In addition to being a graduate of the Hartford Conservatory of Music [Hartford, Connecticut], I also studied at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and the University of the Arts [Philadelphia, Pennsylvania]. I have performed solo tours in the United States, Ireland, Belgium, and Holland. I've also performed with Ray Brown (jazz bassist), Glenn Branca (avant-garde composer), and many other talented musicians.

My name is Zarni and I am a recent graduate from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors in Music Education and Songwriting. During my time at Berklee I received two scholarships, The Korg Endowed for Early Childhood Education and the Scott Benson Scholarship, the highest award given for Songwriting. Most recently I won Most Promising Music Educator Award in the Choral department, an award given by the Dean of the Berklee College of Music.

Hello! My Name is David and I'm here to share my experiences and love of music with you! I had my first solo performance at age 9, joining a local boys choir shortly thereafter. My first local touring experience was at with that choir at 10 years old. At age 12, I started doing Musical Theatre. At 15, I went on my first European tour with my High School Choir, and knew this was without a doubt what I had to do with my life, so I began private voice and piano lessons. After years of involvement in as much Music and Theatre I could get my hands on, I attended Cornish College of the Arts, where I received my Bachelor of Music in 2006.

My name is Ryan and I have been involved in music for over 13 years now. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2010, I moved to Seattle to pursue my career in music. Since I've moved I have been teaching lessons, performing in musicals, performing at weddings/events, and playing with my rock band all over the country.

I love and respect every type of music there is but I have always excelled and found myself happiest in Rock. Some of the bands that have influenced me in music and that I still listen to to this day are: Blink 182, Yellowcard, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, No Doubt, Metallica, and such hard rock acts as Periphery, A Day To Remember, and many others.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado Denver in 2009. I graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) and won the Outstanding Graduate award from the College of Arts & Media. I even sang the National Anthem at my own graduation, in front of thousands of other graduates and their families, an honor usually reserved for faculty.

While earning my degree, I specialized in singing, songwriting and the recording arts. I also professionally competed in an honors a cappella group. During this time, I took a great deal of leadership and learned how to assist choir directors in warming up and teaching new vocal materials to large groups of students.

But, being able to watch and learn from some of the best players on Earth gave me the chance to study Jazz at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro, and the opportunity to tour America and Europe as a professional performer and published songwriter. I have played to thousands of folks across the Globe, and I have learned that there’s no faster way to make new friends any place you go, no matter what language you speak. I've been exploring music since age 13 when I started with bass and guitar. I've gigged around the Puget Sound area with different types of bands. I am a performing pianist/composer. I write for solo piano, instrumental ensemble with and without vocals, choir, and orchestra. I've produced five CDs of original music and two books of music, one a compilation of piano solos and the other a book of teaching pieces for piano. Big inspirations are nature, spiritual philosophy, and my students.

I teach in West Seattle and on Vashon Island.
