An outstanding teacher, today was my second session with Takosha and I really enjoy working with her. I really like the way she teaches because she showed me exactly what my grey area was and what's the best was to improve at it. After a second session, I have honestly found a trust in Takosha and a level of comfort to sing sing sing. No more 30 min session's, now time for hour session's.

Great teacher

My first lesson was very good. She sought to learn about who I was, what my goals were and how i best obtained I formation. I was singing during my very first lesson!

The best part was the encouragement that she gave me at the end!

I am looking forward to the rest of my lessons and where she will take me!

Brian A. Savannah, GA

About Brian

I have a lot of experience teaching and playing.

My lessons will be extremely organized and will vary from music theory to improvisation to learning songs. I can also teach sight reading, or classical or jazz guitar, if students desire this.

I have most experience teaching kids when I was at Portman's music and then AMR Music later. I have taught adults as well.

I feel weird writing about myself and if you have any questions get into touch with me.

Thanks.

Guitar started out for me as something that was fun. That's how I want it to be for my students. I understand if you had school and you couldn't have practiced as much as you like. I had those days when I was younger. I try to build technique through a mixture of songs and exercises. ...

Great Teacher

Sebastian is having an amazing time with his teacher Jarrod. He looks forward to his lessons and practices very hard at home not only because he loves the drums but because he wants to impress his teacher. Jarrod is a smart and very talented instructor, he explains everything well and allows the student to feel comfortable embrace the lessons easily. Sebastian has a blast and grasps everything quickly thanks to Jarrod. He's an amazing musician and Sebastian is very happy and lucky to have him as an instructor.

John J. Savannah, GA

About John

I began playing guitar when I was about 12 years old, playing punk through most of my teenage life, with some ska and emo thrown in as well. When I entered college, I began taking an interest in metal and folk music, and after leaving college, I took an interest in the blues. And yes, my iPod does look like it is shared between all of Sybil's personalities.

My focus is towards those who are just starting and are curious about what the guitar has to offer. When I worked for Guitar Center, I taught the store's guitar lessons for nearly all of 2013, with the focus of these lessons being those who were just starting out. It grew to be the best part of my job before I left in December to move to California-which I moved out of early in November the same year. I grew accustomed to ...
