Expertise and certification in business and music technology, MIDI, notation software, interactive musical software. Over ten years teaching experience in college, university, and community college settings, and in commercial, private or public school studios.

My name is James, and I love music. Music is my "aeroplane". It's the window to my world. Everything I do involves music: learning it, playing it, listening to it, creating it, studying it. I've been playing for about 20 years now, and I've had almost every experience that one can have playing the piano: playing at a high competition level, public performances, both solo and ensemble, lots of private instruction. My personal training is in classical piano, however I believe that all genres possess the potential to be an instrument of learning and enjoyment, AT THE SAME TIME! And I'd love to show you how!
