I am committed to teaching students of all ages and experiences how to explore their musical abilities. I have been teaching private and group lessons for almost 5 years.

Master of Music in Music Performance- Voice from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY
Bachelor of Science in Music Performance- Voice with a minor in Piano and Saxophone from Roberts Wesleyan College in Chili, NY

Teaching Experience:
Started teaching private voice, piano and saxophone lessons in 2008. Attended Ithaca College in a full Assistantship teaching 12 credits a semester of class voice and applied voice lessons to non-music major undergraduates. Since graduating with an M.M in Vocal Performance I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages and abilities for voice. Styles inclued Musical Theater, Classical, Contemporary, and Jazz. I have also had the pleasure to continue teaching beginner students in piano and saxophone.

I have been writing and performing music since he was 15. Along the way I have played or recorded with numerous notable bands including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees George Clinton and Parliament Funkedic, and members of Bob Dylan's band. In classical music, I have learned music composition under Dan Asia at the University of Arizona and East Indian Classical music from master musician Ali Akbar Khan at the Ali Akbar School of Music. I have been teaching lessons in guitar, vocals, banjo, and harmonica for 15 years. My lessons are always focused on whatever style the student is most interested in, yet still incorporate a dose of music theory and other styles to help inspire well rounded musicians. I can teach to any age, in any genre, as well as help with songwriting, performance techniques, recording skills, and classical composition.
