Some of my hobbies are singing, playing piano, teaching, spending time with friends and family, going for road trips, and baking.
I was born into a musical family, with my father a music teacher and mother a percussionist. I began playing piano at a young age, and singing before I can even remember. As I got older, I transitioned from Disney to Patriotic, then Jazz to Pop, then Classical, Choral, and Opera- where I currently focus my studies. In high school, I participated in Concert Choir for all four years. I taught the choir during my Junior and Senior Year as the Student Director, and currently am the only person to have received the National School Choral Award (A Senior Student Award only) for both my Junior and Senior year. I have been a musician since 7th grade, when I joined my school concert and jazz band. I stared with the trumpet and brass section, and I practiced piano and received private lessons at home. By the end of high school, I was ready to take it to the next level. I got involved in hip hop and dee jaying, which is my passion!! As well as learning new instruments, I formed a successful band which I played with for several years. If you choose me as your teacher, I will ensure you have a solid framework for whatever direction you want to take your own musical experience! I have a passion for teaching others the gift I've been blessed with.

I have been performing since the age of three. At the age of seven, I began classical vocal lessons. At 8, I wrote the school song for Cherry Creek Elementary School in Marquette, Michigan. When I was 10, I entered and won the Grand Supreme title at my first pageant. When I was 13, I moved my vocal training at the local University becoming the youngest classical vocal student. After years of participating in musical theatre productions, I landed a job in a guitar shop that lead to a big shift in my musical interests. I left my small town, the theatre and my classical background behind and began fronting both Country and Rock bands, even singing along side Juice Newton, The Oak Ridge Boys, Glen Campbell, Sugarland, and Trick Pony on stage at the Porterfield Country Music Festival in 2005, which has in years past drawn nationally known country music artists such as Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, and Loretta Lynn. Hi, my name is David and I am a DJ, guitarist, vocalist, remixer, and producer.

I attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, and received BMs in Songwriting and Music Synthesis. I've appeared on the commercially released CD titled Cyberfest 2000: Sounds of the Digital Revolution, Volume 1 along with DJ Dan, Moby, Mix Master Mike, BT, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, Carl Cox, and Christopher Lawrence. In 2002, I appeared again on the Epic Records release Shekinah: 13 Artists. I received a Master of Music degree in Music Technology from Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit in 2010 and am now working towards a Doctorate of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.

Hello! Music has consumed me from a very young age, and has been a defining force every since. I started singing in Kindergarten, and began playing the viola, cello, and saxaphone in middle school. During high school, while performing in every vocal and band solo and ensemble I could, it became very clear that I wanted to pursue music in college. I attended Hastings College, a private liberal arts college in the heart of Nebraska, where I received my Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance. During college, and since, I have had a private music studio teaching students piano, voice, and a little guitar from ages 5 to 87, so I have seen a great deal of talent over the years. I enjoy all ages and genders, but having been a male in music I am aware of the stigma young males have regarding music. Being a veteran and a musician has allowed me to incorporate characteristics from both in my approach to teaching, and in showing its very cool to be a male in music!
