About Me
It may sound cheesy but I believe music is the soul of life. It is everything to me. I've studied piano since I was about 5 years old and began singing since about 10. I received my Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music majoring in Vocal Performance and Literature. I've made appearances with the Eastman Opera Theater performing as the Principal Comedian in The Bartered Bride, and as a solo tenor in two contemporary performances titled The Juliet Letters and Genius Child. In the summer of 2011, I had the opportunity to work in Italy with renowned performers and coaches in the music and language program “Si parla, si canta”. There I studied and performed scenes from Mozart’s Idomeneo, Verdi’s Traviata, and Gluck’s Paride ed Helena. I have also performed the role of El Dancaïro in Oswego Opera’s Carmen. In the fall of 2011, I was one of only eight vocalists chosen to compete in the finals of the Friends of Eastman Opera (FEO) Voice Competition.
