Chris is an excellent instructor!

My 7 yr. old took Drum lessons with Chris and has shown definite improvement over the past 6 wks. Chris set up a system where my son can play at his skill level yet learn something new at every session. He is also good at keeping my sons interest (tough to do with a 7 yr. old!) Overall, I would recommend Chris to anyone .
Laudon S. Rochester, NY

About Laudon

When I first heard my dad play "Blackbird," I was hooked. I borrowed my little brother's guitar and started teaching myself from some old Hal Leonard books. There was something so exhilarating about making a piece of wood produce beautiful sounds. Soon I was taking lessons on electric guitar, playing Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. My teacher at the time pushed me toward classical guitar and I starting attending evening classes at the local community college when I was in high school. I fell in love with making music and decided to make it my career. I earned my Bachelor's of Music from Arizona State University, studying under Frank Koonce. During my first few years there, I focused on technique and commissioning new works for the guitar, while exploring the vast repertoire of music ...

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Laudon as a guitar instructor. I have had the privilege of studying with him for a year and have been most impressed by his knowledge of music theory, technique and performance. Laudon has crafted a lesson strategy that ensures that I will reach my personal artistic goals as quickly as possible. He listens carefully to my questions and answers them by using visual references that enhance my understanding of challenging concepts. Not only does Laudon share his expansive knowledge of music in a relaxed, comfortable manner to students of all ages and walks of life, he does so with warmth and humor. It would be impossible to find a better musical mentor and coach. In sci-fi terms, the force is strong with him!
Rhonda F. Rochester, NY

About Rhonda

I started taking piano lessons in the first grade from a teacher who graduated from Eastman School of Music. I later won a scholarship to Eastman School of Music as a classical pianist. I have been teaching for 33 years and have performed in Europe and won First Place Piano Competition in New York with 200 of the best pianists in the nation performing. I wanted to quit in the 5th grade but my mother told me I was to young to make that decision for myself and she would not hear of it! Music is now like the air that I breathe. I cannot live without it! Thanks mom for being smarter than me. Playing the piano should be fun at any cost. I let students play many styles of music until they find the style that calls them. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are and should be a fun experience. I ...

Fabulous Piano Teacher

I took lessons for 5 years and I play better than I ever dreamed. I enjoyed the lessons and understood the teaching with ease. Expect to have great lessons with your head spinning with tons of information after each lesson from this gifted teacher. Very enjoyable and rewarding experience to say the least. I never again found such a great teacher since taking with Rhonda. I was heartbroken when she moved.

Alex M. Rochester, NY

About Alex

At 22 years of age, I feel I have come a long way with my passion for music. From southern Louisiana, I began my involvement in music by taking piano lessons at the age of 5. I began trumpet studies in my school bands starting at the age of 10. I have won numerous music awards and am pursuing a career in orchestral trumpet performance. I love sharing my knowledge with students and inspiring them to become better musicians. I have given trumpet lessons and clinics at various K-12 schools around Louisiana while studying music education at Loyola University New Orleans. I recently moved to Rochester, NY, to pursue my degree of Master of Music Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, studying under James Thompson.

I've known Christian for a few years. We went to school together and have done a decent amount of playing together. He's very professional, talented, and knows what he's doing. Hes a top rated teacher and player. Anyone studying with him will learn a lot from him. Very highly recommended.
