Hi, my name is Chadwick G. and I aim to teach the beginner student basic percussion techniques, drum set notation, basic music theory and stage performance. I also emphasize teaching fundamental rudiments to ensure successful sight-reading skills and understanding of music terminology amongst peers. Graduating with an A.A. in Music from San Antonio College, I plan to keep teaching beginner students to see them go off and continue to learn music throughout their middle school, high school and/or collegiate years. I have been studying and performing on drums / percussion for 18 years, playing different styles and genres of music and have used my touring experience to help promote good performance skills, i.e. performance anxiety. Involved in many community ensembles and events.

My name is Tracy. I am so excited for the chance to be working with you. Here is a little background on my musical training and experience.

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 12 from Karen Hudson, (a highly respected piano teacher in San Antonio), using the Suzuki Piano Method (an advanced Japanese curriculum). Although I started a little later than the average student, I discovered right away that I had a great love and passion for the instrument.
I joined my church praise and worship team when I was 15 and have been playing on praise and worship teams ever since. I have worked with beginners all the way to professional musicians and band leaders and have attended several music conferences (including Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia.)

I'm Nathaniel. I'm 28 and, I have been playing for 21 years, and teaching for the past 9 years. I come from a musically diverse background, and have taught all genres of music. Over the past few years, I have consistently been ranked as one of the top guitarists in San Antonio through the Alamo Music Guitar Wars. I'm not just another guitar teacher or instructor. I have been teaching violin, viola and cello for 10 years. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for Music Composition. I studied with Dr. Eugene Dowdy at UTSA for String Project. I have also taught for NISD, Boerne ISD, YOSA, and St. Philip's College.

I started my musical career soon after I picked up the guitar at the age of
thirteen. Shortly after gaining proficiency on my instrument, I began composing
short classical guitar pieces and made arrangements of popular Christian songs for the
guitar. My performing and compositional talents have inspired me to write for the
guitar. I hold a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Composition and a
Master’s of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
During my studies I received the Reed Holmes Memorial Award for
Composition and was a finalist in the University of Texas at San Antonio 10th and 11th
Annual Concerto and Aria Competitions and an Honorable Mention in the El Paso
Symphony Guild Concerto Competition. I'm also a member of the Phi Kappa Lambda
Music Honor Fraternity, Golden Key International Honor Society and the 2001

I been playing the guitar professionally for over 20 years. In that time I had the good fortune to perform and record with some really good musicians. I' ve played in various bands ranging from rock to jazz and flamenco. I received my bachelor's degree in recording engineer and record producer from LBCC.

I'm currently a Guitar Teacher for different music schools and have a number of private students as well.

My name is Felipe and I am a graduate of the University of North Texas where I studied Music Theory and am classically trained at the guitar. I am currently persuing my master's degree at Texas State University. I can play many instruments and love helping others learn how to play and have fun.

My introduction to music was when I got a drum set my sophomore year of high school. I taught myself to play by playing along with my favorite bands like Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Beatles. I started teaching myself to play the guitar two years later during my senior year of high school. Soon after, I learned how to play electric bass, ukulele and mandolin. Since then, I have played in many garage bands and pursued an education in music.
