I am a recent graduate of Morgan State University. I majored in music education with trumpet as my primary instrument. Teaching for 10 years, section leader for 5yrs. Musical arranger, who understands all levels of students and genuinely loves to teach. Very inviting and understanding, as well as easy to talk to. Trustworthy and honest, performed in numerous groups including jazz and classical.

I am a recent Music Education graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park and I currently teach in Baltimore City Public Schools. I've had over four years experience as conductor of the Gamer Symphony Orchestra (a 130+ member orchestra with choir that performs video game music.) I have also had previous experience teaching private flute and piano lessons out of my own home. I currently teach in an after school music program teaching K-2 Percussion and a middle school Guided Band Practice and am seeking to teach full time in Maryland Public School System. I would love to help students understand how music can greatly impact all aspects of their lives and I believe that helping students become engaged in the material by using music they like to listen to (such as video game music) is also important. I now teach in Baltimore City Public Schools as a Music teacher.

I love to teach people how exciting music can be for their life! Charlton is a native of Gambrills, Maryland and graduate of Arundel High School in Gambrills, MD. He holds degrees in general studies with a concentration in history, as well as in fine arts with a concentration in music performance, from Anne Arundel Community College. Charlton also studied music at Bowie State University and University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Charlton is a professional trombonist, and keyboardist, in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area playing with a variety of Concert Bands, Jazz Ensembles, and other musical ensembles. He also plays guitar, electric bass guitar, drums, and sings. As well as composes and arranges music for soloist and ensembles.
