I was born in Charlestown West Virginia. My musical career started at age 3 when my parents placed a pair of drum sticks in my hands. I started playing drums in church and then progressed to play in middle school where I was apart of the jazz band and orchestra. With some very early lessons, I begin to blossom into a skillful drummer. I then continued to play in bands in high school and, in addition, became apart of the Milford Mill Academy Marching Band. In my sophomore year, I became the section leader of the drum line where I played the snare drum. I have 2 degrees in music theory from Deer Park Magnet school and Morgan State University. I have performed with many bands from different musical genres such as gospel, funk, pop, jazz, blues, rock, Latin, reggae, and R&B. Music is something that everyone can share and express themselves through, and i want to help everyone to find that avenue of expression! I studied drums at the Drummers Collective in New York City, where i studied several genres of music. I play everything from rock, jazz, soul, R&B, Caribbean, and Latin music. If a student is interested in a certain style of music i would be happy to dive into that further, or explore other genres that may peek interest. The difference between me and many other teachers is that i genuinely love teaching and watching my students grow as players and musicians.

John started teaching at the age of 19. His drum teacher gave him a couple of students after he expressed interest in teaching. He has been teaching and performing from the age of 19. His performing included a job with a Funk Band which gave rise to traveling in what he describes as “Tough coal mining towns in West Virginia”.
When the Funk Band ended he went to New York City to study at the Collective-where he studied for four years with instructors who were professional musicians. His teachers at the Collective were “sidemen” with groups such as the Pointer Sisters, Dizzy Gillespie, and Manhattan Transfer. John's teaching style and versatility come from these patient, helpful, humble and generous people who themselves were wonderful musicians.

Steve is originally from the Binghamton, NY area and began studying drums at the age of 12 with local jazz musician Tony Monforte. He participated in the All State Orchestra and was placed on the Pro-Mark Honor Roll for young, up-and-coming drummers. Steve received a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY where he studied with Gordon Stout, Steve Brown, and Robert Bridge. He was selected to participate in the Henry Mancini Institute where he worked with some of the leading jazz, film, and classical musicians and composers from around the world including Terence Blanchard, Bud Shank, Christian McBride, and Jerry Goldsmith. He has also studied with Steve Houghton, Greg Fields, John Vidacovich, and Harold Jones.

My name is Ricky. I received my bachelor's in Music from Nyack College. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Music Education at Mt. St. Mary's University. I have been playing music for over 15 years now. I can play a variety of different instruments in several different styles. I have been a music director for several bands for many years. I am currently a music producer for several local artists in which I am in charge of overlooking the musical direction of the albums. I am an expert at teaching music theory to all levels of musicians and I love to make my students enjoy their instruments. Keith is a seasoned drummer, Grammy Award winner as well as an Emmy award winning media producer; with a high degree of artistic and technical experience. He has over thirty five years on-stage experience performing, developing and managing international artists. Fabio is an accomplished and experienced musician. Beginning with percussion at the age of 9, he has over 15 years rocking out behind the kit. He has played in many local bands and as well as some internationally. He is sought after for his wide variety of styles: Classic rock, Modern Rock, Alternative, Punk, Metal, Blues, Funk, and Latin. He is currently working on a Hard Rock project whom are finishing up some demos before they start gigging around the area.
Aside from drumming, Fabio has also been trained in classical and electric guitar, as well as Music theory, which he acquired while obtaining a BS Mechanical Eng/ and Acoustics.
