Lyric Baritone, Orlando S., holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, respectively. Orlando serves as the Director of Music and Chancel Choir conductor at Hunt's Memorial United Methodist Church which was founded in 1773 during the advent of our nation’s history.

In addition to his work as a conductor, Orlando is also a highly-respected and sought studio teacher of voice and piano. He maintains an active voice and piano studio in the Baltimore area having successfully taught hundreds of students. Orlando holds memberships with the National Association for Music Education (MENC), the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and teaches students in five different locations.

I have studied with Wanchi Huang at James Madison University for six years. At JMU, I earned a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music, both in violin performance. I am currently working on a doctoral degree at Catholic University of America, studying with Jody Gatwood. When I was a student at JMU, I taught several students privately. The students ranged from retirees to JMU faculty and students to adolescents. I am now teaching at Baltimore Talent Education Center, where I teach violin in small groups and individual lessons. I have been playing guitar for around 28 years, I have performed in many states and continue to do so. Playing live is a very special part of playing music, I have also recorded in the studio - it's always great to put your music onto a cd or help a fellow musician out and record when they need someone else to listen. Plus you always have your recording to listen to for a long time. My background comes from learning from a nationally known professional musician who has been performing for over 30 years on world tours & recorded on 10 different albums. I also have studied in different music workshops in the U.S with world renown pro guitarists.

I am an active musician in the Baltimore and Philadelphia area working as a pianist, guitarist, producer, and composer. I graduated from the university of the arts with a degree in music performance performing in different ensembles from Latin jazz to the school's production of "Porgy and Bess." i have been teaching students of all ages for 3 years now and love working with children. Not only will students learn to read music but will get a great sense of rhythm, balanced theory, and even songwriting for those interested.

I discovered music sifting through my Dad's record collection and soon decided that I wanted to play guitar. As a teenager I began taking lessons and building confidence in my abilities. I played in different types of bands ranging from rock, country, blues, and jazz. After completing College in 2003, I realized music was not just going to be a hobby, but a career. At age 29, I have been teaching and playing guitar professionally for the last six years. I believe that anybody can learn to play as long as they are patient and understand that anything worthwhile takes time and sustained effort to achieve. You also need a good teacher who understands how to take you where you want to go musically. I have taught over a hundred different students of all ages and abilities. I have seen many of them grow musically and gain confidence in other areas of their lives as a result. I aim to inspire every student to find their way to a rewarding life through music.

Hello, my name is Richard. I love all things music, but my primary areas of focus are Piano and Music Literacy and Theory. My musical journey began when I was 6 years old, shortly after my grandparent's piano came to reside in my parents' home. I began piano lessons during that summer after first grade. By the time I was in junior high, my teacher thought I was ready for a more advanced teacher, and so I began taking lessons from someone who had traveled to Europe to study music. In college, I continued my musical journey, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors in Church Music with a Piano Principal and again in 2004 with a Masters in the same. I teach students as young as 7 and all ability levels, whether you're just starting out, have been playing for a while, or are considering switching from violin to viola. My students don't just learn to copy my playing, but learn how progress and problem-solve when they're practicing on their own.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Music in viola with a concentration in string pedagogy and a graduate of the New England Conservatory and Tufts University double degree program with degrees in Viola performance and English Literature. At NEC I studied with Roger Tapping, Carol Rodland, and Kim Kashkashian. Music and teaching music have been my passions for as long as I can remember! Throughout my career as a student, I have explored many musical paths and instruments. All these experiences contributed to making me the well-rounded and intelligent musician I am today.

My undergraduate degree is from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Music education where I am certified to teach any music from students K-12. Currently, I am pursuing a masters degree in Vocal Performance and Opera from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University where I study under Phyllis Bryn-Julson.

Although singing is my #1 passion, I encourage students to play instruments and explore other musical outlets. Musical instruments I've learned and performed with include: piano, french horn, mallet percussion, classical guitar, and saxophone. Music has so much to offer - take advantage of it now!

Soprano Belinda L. is quickly emerging as a sought-after performer both in opera and as a recitalist. I love music and I love teaching! I started out with a passion for musical theater, and eventually I developed a love for opera and art songs. I love how singing requires both physical awareness and mental focus, and I will strive to teach the balance of these aspects. I've had a great deal of experience reaching out to students of all ages. I taught undergraduates while finishing my masters degree in Chicago, and while performing outreach with the San Diego Opera and Anchorage Opera. Outside of music, I love competing in triathlons!
