With over 25 years experience teaching voice, including at the college level, I bring a wealth of experience to my students. I earned my Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in vocal performance, studied at the Tanglewood Institute, as well as with many other professional singers and acclaimed teachers. I have sung professionally with opera companies, symphonies and other presenting organizations. My students will learn vocal techniques that work and that will allow them to be the artists they want to be! I create a safe, supportive, and fun atmosphere for my students. I firmly believe that studying music should be enjoyable, and that high standards don't equal stuffy seriousness!

Hello there! My name is Jeremy and I have 30 years of experience as a pianist and 10 years of teaching experience. I am a Dad, my kids ranging in age from 3-16 so I am extremely comfortable teaching little ones and have a pretty much endless supply of patience :) I trained for 12 years under the Pace Method as a young person, as well as with a private tutor as I grew older. I love the piano and play it both recreationally and professionally. For church, special occasion gatherings, parties etc. I love to teach students to have fun while they play!

My father once told me my first words were to a melody. I grew up traveling on the road with my father's rock n' roll band and it was no one's surprise when I majored in music in college. With my B.A. in Vocal Music, I have sung everything from Schubert, Puccini, and Handel to Adele, Billie Holiday, and Barbershop four-part harmony. A native Texan, David S. was born in San Antonio and raised in Pasadena, a suburb of southeast Houston. Upon graduation from South Houston High School, David went on to the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with Instrumental Emphasis. He also has earned Texas' EC-12 Teaching Certification following his undergraduate study. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado Denver in 2009. I graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors) and won the Outstanding Graduate award from the College of Arts & Media. I even sang the National Anthem at my own graduation, in front of thousands of other graduates and their families, an honor usually reserved for faculty.

While earning my degree, I specialized in singing, songwriting and the recording arts. I also professionally competed in an honors a cappella group. During this time, I took a great deal of leadership and learned how to assist choir directors in warming up and teaching new vocal materials to large groups of students.
