About Me

My passion for music is the most pervasive quality of my personality. Consequently, passing that passion on to others is what brings me the most joy in life. My goal is to spread the love and appreciation for this unique and transcending art form through guidance, performance, and instruction. As my student, you will receive exactly what you (or your child) want out of the lessons-you are the one controlling what you want from them (be it any style of music, professional track or just for fun, music theory, and performance) and I am there to provide it. Music is nothing short of extremely fun and completely liberating.

I have always loved to sing and play guitar and piano starting from a young age, and I never gave up my determination and passion for performing. ABOUT MYSELF
I started late on the guitar in a family of musicians. I picked up the guitar when I was 18 years old when I found an old acoustic at my grandfather’s house. From then I was self taught listening to Punk Rock, New Wave, and learning from friends. My love for the instrument and music drove me to really apply myself to really learning how to play. I would sit and just be creative, writing my own songs and putting little back yard bands together with my cousin and friends. Then, it was time for college and had to make a decision on what to study. Music was my passion and I never really taken a lesson before. I prepared myself by studying with Stephan Ferrara-Grand in San Clemente,CA for a short time to audition into the music program. I passed! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the San Diego State University School of Music and Dance in 1999, and I studied jazz guitar with international guitarist/violinist Art Johnson and theory with David Ward-Steinman. About Me

I began singing at age 7 and have since developed interests in studying pop, rock, jazz, opera, acting, and musical theater. I have played leading roles in several operas and musicals in Southern California and I continue to perform and study music. I recently graduated from the University of Redlands- which I attended on a music scholarship- with my Bachelor's degree in Music. I have also done several concerts, opera scenes, competitions (winning music scholarships and theater awards), and worked as a singer at churches, restaurants, and performing bands. With this experience under my belt I feel a duty to pass on my knowledge to students. I carry a passion to help people develop their abilities and make them their own. I truly believe that if someone wants something out of life then they WILL achieve it with dedication, perseverance, confidence, and by having FUN doing it!

Ever since the first time i picked up a guitar the hardest part was putting it down. I knew then what I was meant to do. After being self-taught for a few years I decided to start getting serious lessons. With being serious in mind, I decided to make Music my major in college. After a few years of studying with the music program at Riverside Community College, I was already composing music for the schools string ensembles.

About Me

With many years of experience in both piano and vocal performance in Los Angeles and in England and my teaching in the Inland Empire, my students experience a rich and rewarding time of learning.

I received my formal education in piano performance from the Royal Academy Of Music in London and in Rhodesia. I also attended the Kwanagoma College Of music in Rhodesia and studied organ under the famous Dr. Olaff Axelson of Germany.

I also attended the University Of Redlands where I studied piano pedagogy.

I studied voice with Suzann Luckather of the Alhambra Academy Of Music in Los Angeles and also with Maestra Marya Basaraba, director of the California Philharmonic 200 voice chorus.

I further studied with the international vocal coach and concert pianist, Armin Gazulamian.

My current vocal coach is the world famous tenor, Guiltiero Negrini of the Metropolitan Opera House New York.

About Me

I taught myself how to play piano at the age of 17, and at 18 I taught myself how to play the guitar. Over the last 5 years I have learned everything from music theory to composition to songwriting and recording. I know what it means when students say "I'm too old to learn", well I'm here to tell you that, that is not the case. In music, as long as there is passion, the artist in you will become alive and help you achieve whatever your goal may be in music. I am here to help you realize not only your playing potential, but guide you into not just becoming a guitar player, piano player, but a musician. I am able to teach Piano, Guitar, Music recording from software/hardware to MIDI, including Sonar, Reason, and related software.

Jonathan is a grateful, fun and energetic voice teacher! Having been a performer in venues all over Southern California starting with Performance Riverside reaching to the prestigious Musical Theater West in Long Beach, Jonathan has a passion for teaching young performers as well. Jonathan enjoys being a teacher around the Inland Empire having taught at Valencia Elementary School grades 1-6, Broadway Experience ages 10-18 and Fontana High School grades 9-12. Currently enrolled as a full time student, Jonathan too enjoys taking voice lessons regularly because “practice makes perfect!”

Hey everyone!

My name is Erika, and I am a piano instructor.

I've had the privilege of taking over 19 years in piano lessons in which I have played A LOT of beautiful pieces. I have a vast repertoire that includes pieces from every major musical period. Though I do enjoy all types of music, I have to admit that I love love LOVE the Romantic period. Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff are some of my favorite composers. Over the years, I have been able to enjoy the benefits of Certificate of Merit programs, recitals, and performances for both non-profit and profit.

Right now, I am currently seeking a music degree at the University of California at Riverside, where I can further enhance my musicianship as a pianist and music teacher. There is always something exciting and new to learn in music.

About Me

Born in Culver City, CA and originally from the Los Angeles County. My brother inspired me to become a musician where I decided I wanted to become a drummer. I joined my high school's marching band, concert band, wind ensemble, winter drumline and played in a rock band called Differential Pitch.
Once attending CSU Polytechnic Pomona as a Music major with an emphasis in Music Industry Studies in 2005. Under the teachings of Bill Schilt I was to learn how to play the congas and improve on my drum techniques. I enrolled in my department's concert band and Salsa band. While I was in these groups I met Lyrically Twisted and I was asked to play for him. We formed Lyrically Twisted and the New Generation Band. I had the opportunity to also play with Albert Picon and his Salsa band, the Jazz Steamers, and the M.U.S.E club band, performed with Jess Navarette, an amazing guitarist and songwriter, and joined the Voyager Project.
