About Me

Because music speaks directly to the emotions, I have developed a learning environment that integrates both the emotional and thinking centers of your brain.

My large sunlit studio and teaching style are designed to make you or your child comfortable and lessons are designed to be supportive and helpful.

Through a wide variety of activities, I will provide you with the instruction and positive feedback you need to master the skills necessary for singing or playing the cello. However, I also believe I can be most helpful, if from the beginning, I show you how these skills work together to create a moving performance.

Learning requires repeated rehearsal. However, despite its bad reputation, practicing can be something you or your child looks forward to. During our lessons I will help you develop skills useful for assessing your at-home progress and giving yourself positive feedback. About Me

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Management from the University of the Pacific. At Pacific, Aaron studied both jazz and classical music, and performed rock/gospel music on campus. He is currently completing work toward a Master of Arts degree in Worship Studies through Liberty University and serves as the Worship Arts Ministry Assistant at Sunrise Community Church in Fair Oaks, CA, where he directs instrumental music programs.

Aaron has been teaching private lessons since 2007, and has been teaching marching percussion at high schools since 2008. He has had students go on to earn college music scholarships, prepared students for acceptance into the Central Valley Youth Symphony, and instructed a winter percussion ensemble with a first place win at NCBA championships.

Robert is a brass, voice and percussion artist, as well music teacher, local to the Sacramento area, specializing in many styles such as Classical, Jazz, and Pop. Robert received his Bachelor’s degree in Tuba Performance from CSU Sacramento. He held the position of Principal Tuba for the Folsom Symphony for the 2009 - 2011 seasons. Robert is currently the lead trombone for the Harley White Jr. Jazz Orchestra and lead trombone for the Element Brass Band. As well, Robert has won multiple downbeat awards with the Sacramento State Jazz Singers where Robert sung bass and was often a featured soloist. He is also featured as the bass singer in Selfless Cold and Composed on the Ben Folds' College a cappella album released in 2009. in addition Robert plays in several professional drum lines (most notably that of the SF 49ers and GS Warriors). About Me

With more than 20 years of teaching experience for the cello, I have taught students of all ages, throughout California and overseas. I earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Cello Performance and am currently the Associate Principal cellist for the Folsom Lake Symphony in Folsom, California. In addition, I am teaching all levels of cello and beginner violin lessons to my students in Folsom, Napa and Sacramento.

My professional performing experience began in Medellin, Colombia in 1985 with the Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra where I was their Soloist beginning in 1992 and later on, as First Cello, from 1998-2002.

While in Colombia, I also performed with the Antioquia Symphonic Orchestra and the Antioquia Chamber Orchestra from 1991-1999.

About Me

Gaw is a voice artist, music teacher, and arranger local to the Sacramento area, specializing in styles such as Jazz, Pop, R&B, and Classical. She began her music experience with the baritone at age 12, and eventually learned to play the violin, trumpet, French horn, piano, and percussion. She received her B.M. in Vocal Jazz Performance from California State University of Sacramento which she studied under world-class jazz artists Julia Dollison and Kerry Marsh.

Gaw sings locally in various Sacramento venues, such as Shady Lady, JB lounge and Capital Garage. She won multiple Downbeat Awards with vocal jazz ensembles at Sacramento State. She performed with Schola Cantorum under the direction of Don Kendricks. Gaw played brass with the championship level drum and bugle corps, Mandarins and Blue Devils A. With a bachelors degree in music from California State University Sacramento I studied with the best, including graduates from Juilliard and Eastman. I focus on what my students want to play and provide a harmonic grounding to enable the student to improvise or just "jam" with anybody. I also provide a positive reinforcement atmosphere and will accept ground floor beginners to advanced intermediate students.

About Me

My name is Sean W. and I've been a multi instrumentalist for 23 years! I've performed opera as a soprano, Rock, funk, punk, metal, and Jazz on guitar, bass, and drum-kit. When I started teaching 15 years ago I found being able to accompany my students on other instruments to be an indispensable tool.

I my elementary years I attended an elite music school. There I performed "classical styles" as a solo soprano and classical pianist. My experience included performing opera with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and smaller "gigs", like weddings and seasonal concerts. I still to this day value my classical training.

In 2005-2009 I attended Berklee College of Music as a Bass Principal, majoring in Contemporary Writing and production. My experience here was amazing! About Me

I am from Sacramento CA and beginning as a teenager, have been performing in blues, rock, country, pop, disco, jazz, folk and bluegrass bands in Northern CA for over 35 years. I have over 20 years of teaching experience on guitar and electric bass, patiently guiding beginning and intermediate students on their musical journeys. Beginning at 13, I took 1 year of piano lessons and at 14, 1 year of electric bass lessons and has guided my teaching philosophy of an inclusive and fun look at not only learning an instrument, but also getting and overview of music theory to assist with laying your musical foundation. I currently am playing with and backing up blues and country bands and although I specialize in playing blues, country and Americana styles of music, I can learn and then help guide you in learning any song or any style of music you choose as you begin you musical journey. I'm Esther, a very enthusiastic musician. I started out teaching myself piano and singing in a choir at the age of 9. I moved to the U.S. in 1992 and studied music for 10 years receiving my B.M. & M.A. in music at California State University of Sacramento. I studied and trained with Claudia Kitka & Jackie Victorino for voice and Kirsten Smith, Joan McDe, & Angel Mamn for piano. I have performed many solo concerts in the U.S. as well as South Korea.

I find a student's strengths and weaknesses using various ways to encourage each student. I am very patient, kind, flexible, and enthusiastic and I love working with children as much as adults. I strongly support basic skills: sight-reading, pitch and tone.

I have 26 years experience teaching kids and adults private piano and 6yrs voice coaching (early period to contemporary). I speak fluent Korean and English.
