I've had about a month and a half worth of lessons with Zach at this point. I'm really enjoying learning the Ukulele and is a very patient, effective teacher. He obviously has deep instrumental knowledge and is well versed in teaching. I greatly appreciate the encouragement he gives me as well as the push to learn more and go outside my comfort zone learning an instrument (which I have never done). If you're thinking of taking up a new instrument or just learning more of one you already play, I highly recommend taking lessons from Zack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AliceL2 .I feel that I have learned a lot in a few weeksI now know the drum and cymbal instruments,their names and positions. I have some knowledge of the time element used in drum music. I knowabout note notation on a music sheet.My weakness is learning how to coordinate the instruments , by effectively using hand and body movements to achieve the correct rhythm. That is both a matter of practice and feeling, I don't know ifthat will come or not but I am really enjoying my experience. So far, it has been very worthwhile.I need to have instruments available to practice.I need to study sheet music for the drum,and I need to spend time listening to music groups.Alice

I have really enjoyed my lessons with Zach. He has a great way of teaching while also letting you learn on your own and pushing you to realize your potential. Zach also gives positive reinforcement which is always helpful for a new student. I felt encouraged when he told me I was doing well. I look forward to taking more lessons from Zach in the future.

So far Zach has been a really big help to me. I have been playing for awhile and just need some refinement and direction in certain areas, such as reading music and scales. Zach is really good at catering to the specific skills that I want to learn on the guitar.

There are three of us taking lessons with Zac and we all agree he is great! He is patient, explains things well, takes his time and gives good feedback. We are really enjoying our lessons with him. My husband and I are both adult, beginners, and our 14 year old is more advanced- as she has played several instruments in the past. Zac tailors the lessons for each individual's need. We also have crazy schedules at home, and he has been very accommodating and flexible wiht us.
