Dance with Wendy O.

Wendy O. is a New Hampshire native who recently moved to the Boston area. Wendy is a former member of the Seacoast Ballet Company run by Larry and Colleen Robertson. She studied at the Robertson’s School of Classical Ballet for ten years until her interests shifted to musical theatre. Wendy has performed with several Theatre Companies including Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse, Palace Theatre, BCA and North Shore Music Theatre, to name a few. Her favorite roles include Tiger Lily (Peter Pan), Anne (La Cage Aux Folles), Delee (Smokey Joe’s Caf�), and Shark/Jet Girl (West Side Story). After having performed in over 50 different musicals and plays, Wendy began working behind the scenes choreographing. Her choreographic credits are numerous. These include choreographing for several of the before-mentioned theatre companies as well as Boston College High School, Dover-Sherborn Middle School and Fameless Fam. You can see her work annually at noteworthy performances and venues throughout Boston including at the Hatch Shell, BU Theatre, Calderwood Pavilion and the Boston Garden for the Celtics. Wendy came to Boston in 2007 when she joined the international dance company MAVI Dance. After having danced with them for a year and a half, Wendy had a brief stint with Unyted Stylz. In 2010, Wendy created a professional company - Contemporarily Out of Order - and commanded the attention of many as an edgy contemporary company to be reckoned with. As the Artistic Director, Wendy has produced performances with her company and has guest performed in numerous productions. Contemporarily Out of Order is now under the dance umbrella of Unyted Stylz Entertainment.
