Outstanding teacher My son has been taking piano lessons from Wade since age 6 and he is now 14. Wade is an outstanding teacher and terrific musician. We've recommended Wade to many friends, all of whom are very pleased with their lessons. Wade is always intuitive in how to approach a piece or difficulty within a piece and encourages active listening and mastery of the pieces being worked on. Wade is incredibly thoughtful and creative in getting youngsters through the phases of learning piano and has many ideas, books and options on what they will work on to get the most out of every lesson. Wade always remembers where the last lesson ended and where he wants to go in the next lesson, aiming my son towards goals in his musical practice. My son has become proficient in reading sheet music, sight-reading and improvisation. Wade always assures my son is working on a variety of pieces and he works to master every note with him. My son is typically working on a blues piece, contemporary piece and classical. The mere fact that my son always wants to go to lessons and wants to continue another year of lessons is a real testament to what a challenging and encouraging teacher Wade is for him.

Love Wade!! Our son was taking lessons from another teacher several years back and his interest was waning. We found out about Wade and met him. Our son loved Wade from the start! Wade sat down with him at our piano and they just "jammed" together a little. They continue to play jazz after almost 10 years and our son still loves going to his lessons every week, while continuing to grow in his piano playing abilities. Wade has not only given great instruction, but imparted a love of music of different genres in our son. We couldn't be more pleased!

Great Piano Teacher! Taking piano lessons with Wade has been an absolute joy! I've only been taking a few months but he has tailored a program to fit my needs and has made learning the piano really fun! He is very passionate about what he does which is really inspiring. He also works with my busy schedule and is very accommodating. I would highly recommend him to a student of any age.
