Vera completed her undergraduate studies at Illinois Wesleyan University and her Master’s degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy at Northwestern University under the instruction of worldly acclaimed soloist and pedagogue, Gerardo Ribeiro. She has participated and performed in chamber music festivals, summer academies, master classes and professional solo performances in Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Austria, Serbia, South Africa, Brazil, and the US. Vera is a compassionate teacher as well as an ensemble instructor, conductor, chamber musician, and recording artist. *** Lesson Details *** Each lesson is individualized. Every student is unique and learns differently so naturally, I teach each student in a way that makes each lesson as beneficial and efficient as possible. Most importantly, I teach students how to teach themselves. One day, when they are independent, they should be confident with the knowledge and experience they have acquired to be their own teacher. *** Studio Equipment *** Living Room: couch, chair, table, music stand, parents can sit in on lesson *** Travel Equipment *** Students should have their own instruments. Renting an instrument is simple, easy, and cost effective.
