These are all designed to improve tone, technique, reading ability and improvisation ability in any style of music. The lessons are always fun, informative and of course full of lots of playing!! My piano lessons are for beginning children and my student's ages usually range from 4 to 13. My lessons are designed to keep the student engaged at any age. They involve one on one playing and are intermixed with general music information. This is extremely helpful in making sure the time of the lesson is used productively and to keep the students engaged and having fun. *** Studio Equipment *** Electric Keyboard, Computer and program for writing and printing music. Music Stand, iHome and record player for playing examples as well as for inspiration. *** Travel Equipment *** I provide some music and listening examples. I expect the student to provide their instrument, a stand if necessary and all the accessories (reeds, ligature, etc.). *** Specialties *** Jazz and Classical. My Bachelor's Degree is in Saxophone Performance where I studied Classical Saxophone. My Master's Degree is in Jazz Studies.
