Greetings students! My name is Tyler, and I am a composer and pianist in the Los Angeles area. A very ambitious and motivated individual. As a college senior, I was one of the few distinguished graduates to receive simultaneous invitations to interview for my Master's at the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, and NYU. I continued my education at the graduate level at Manhattan School, earning my Master's degree in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, I worked as a freelance composer and teacher. During this time, I received performances of my compositions with orchestras and ensembles all over the country. I have had significant success with students interested in everything from popular music and jazz to film music and orchestral compositions. My students have been admitted to prestigious composition programs, including Berklee College of Music in Boston. I look forward to working with you on your musical journey.
