I have been really impressed with Terry. Terry works great with my 13 year old son. He is patient and always acts interested in what my son is wanting to show him. Terry is also very good at making sure he includes songs in the lesson that my son likes. I am impressed with Terry's guitar playing - my son will play something random, and Terry can join right in. As a parent I am impressed with Terry's attention to detail. As my son plays, Terry will notice things like correct fingering, strum patterns, counting, etc. If something wasn't played correctly, Terry notices it and will make the correction in a positive way. I know that my son appreciates Terry's input also. I feel like Terry is teaching my son good habits and is doing a great job of bringing exercises to lesson that are a good foundation to learning....and he adds things as building blocks to that foundation.

I asked my son his opinion and he said that Terry helps you work on good technique. And while you are learning with him, you get to pick some of the songs that you want to learn.
