Originally from Moscow, Russia I started my training in Classical music. However, growing up and listening to Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Pink Floyd, Queen etc. I wanted to learn more about that kind of music. My curiosity and passion led me all the way to another continent where I was admitted to the University of Miami's Jazz Vocal Department at the age of 16. While I was at school I realized that I not only wanted to perform, but also write music. After graduation I moved to NYC to pursue being a singer/songwriter. Since then I've recorded 3 albums and have been actively recording, producing, and performing ever since. I am currently working on a new project, which has gathered the attention of NPR, WSJ and The American Songwriter. Before starting lessons I evaluate my student's goals and we set a timeline.
